The only downside is that the location is a bit far from the center — about an 18-minute walk uphill. We recommend arriving with a rental car.

The apartment is very spacious and clean, with a stunning view of the mountains. It is well-equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, oven, and kettle. The bathroom includes an electric bidet and a heated floor, which were very comfortable. It's perfect for a couple or a couple with up to two children. However, it's less suitable for two couples, as it lacks sufficient privacy.

Location was perfect, a 10 min walk to grindelwald where there were buses and trains to anywhere. Apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Nadja was lovely and replied to messages really quickly.

We recently stayed for 4 nights here with our 1-year-old, and it was an amazing experience. The apartment was newly furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. One of the highlights was the unobstructed, breathtaking view of the mountains, as there are no houses in front of the property. Nadja, the host, was incredibly welcoming and took the time to explain everything in detail. The apartment is located slightly away from the town center, which makes it perfect for those who enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the town center, but if you’re driving, it’s even quicker. If you’re seeking tranquility with stunning mountain views, this is the perfect place to stay.

It was a little bit of walk from the bus stop. If you don’t drive be careful with the size of your luggages.

Well equipped kitchen, nice view. Comes with the visitor card which includes free bus. There’s only one room but there is a sofa bed in the living room. Love the detergent fragrance of the bed linen and towels. It’s a bit further away from town so it’s quite peaceful.

Disturbed on several mornings by noise from the floor above at approximately 5am. Otherwise very quiet.

Peaceful apartment on the edge of town. Full well equipped kitchen. WiFi excellent. Free local bus was 5-6 minutes from apartment and ran hourly during the day. Otherwise 10-15 minute walk uphill to town.

Property clean and comfortable. Location away from the main town centre so quiet and peaceful. Owner always helpful even to the point of offering a lift back to the station on departure, which was not expected but most welcome.

The location is at the bottom of a steep hill from the centre area which is not bad on the way to the apartment but when you're leaving with your bags it will be a bit of a workout.

Kitchen haa everything you need. Loved having a high chair and travel cot available for our toddler.

We really love our stay here. The view is incredible - direct view to the mountains from the living room/kitchen area. The whole area is very well heated. We enjoy staying in and just reading and enjoying the view from the living room/kitchen area. Location is perfect for us. Quiet, beautiful view, yet still relatively near to the center. The walk to the center will be uphill, the walk from the center will be downhill. We love every walk, sometimes taking different routes. It's near to the river and jogging track, too. We love our walks exploring the area. Toilet has bidets, for which we are very grateful.

The person cutting the grass at 1830-2000 was very annoying. It’s really difficult to sit outside and enjoy the view or have my kids play outside when people are working. And the lawn work was so loud (windows open in August) that it drowns our conversations inside. Would have been nice if they could have asked us when was a good/bad time to complete their tasks. Whoever lives above the apartment is incredibly noisy. Every evening it sounded like they were rearranging all the furniture in the house. The person was also up very late at night and arriving back from city/party making a lot of noise. The person above also grilled food outside our bathroom window, which is okay, but the smoke filled our apartment with a smell we did not want. A little courtesy would have been nice, to maybe move the grill, or tell us that we should close our windows. Overall, it seemed the above tenant didn’t care about common courtesies for the paying customers staying in the bottom floor apartment.

Great location, owner was very nice and helpful. The view is fantastic from the apartment. Easy access to the town, glacier, gondola, etc. Free parking. Inside of the apartment is spacious and the kitchen is very nice.
