Great Location, parking for extra charges right next to the house. Home style hotel. Beautiful view. Coffe mashine. Room perfect for 3 people. Beautiful garden. Very close to the Lugano town. We got tourist cards free public transport and discount at Lido. Kids were happy about the sweet pastry refilled every day. Comfy beds. Nice towels. Unfortunately the restaurant. Part of the accommodation was closed. Lidl just down the road.

No blackout curtains, a small fridge would be nice.

Clean, comfortable bed, linen and pillows. Modern decor, adequate bathroom, limited toiletries. Coffee machine with pods and croissant in the room. Convenient plugs, small television, closet.

The only two things I'd point out was the shower head, which was just terrible, please change it and the green light shining right next to your head when you're in the bed. Otherwise great service for a good price.

They completely forgot about my special request (which had been approved months before) for a late check out at 12.00. The band went out for a small walk after the usual check out time (11.00AM) , came back to get ready for the check out and found the door locked. They didn't have access to all 3 rooms and their instruments and gear anymore. Extremely annoying, especially for me, who was ready to call the police. No one at the reception or at the restaurant downstairs to asisst them: they had to look for an emergency number in order to let the owner unlock them. The magnetic card system is far beyond obsolete and it simply should not be used anymore and the personal of the hotel should be on top of his things, by knowing by heart these very important details. Technology isn't definitely on this small hotel's side! What a pity there is not a breakfast service and only some coffee machine for a cup of coffee and hot tea. There's room for improvement, according to me.

Very kind hotel's responsible person, he did his best, despite some issues at the check-in with the Booking portal. The portal didn't work, so they had to charge manually my credit card again. Not the receptionist's fault, though. The artists who have slept at the hotel and I booked the 3 rooms for were really satisfied about the nice cozy rooms, the amazingly comfortable beds, the heating and the view over Lugano right outside the hotel's door.

We stayed in il noce room which overlooked Lugano. Great view. The room was clean and spacious. Gabriel was very accommodating. Bed was comfortable and we had air conditioning. Up the back of the property is a garden with seating. A nice place to dine.

Airconditioner produce a weird loud sound each hour, even in switch off mode. Check-in was delayed due to cleaning and we had to wait despite arriving on time.

The room was on the small side, and the reception is only manned starting from 16.00. Neither of these is a serious drawback though.

The hotel is further away from the old town, but very quick and easy to get to by bus, and they even provided us with a transit pass for Ticino, which made it very easy both to get to the hotel and to explore the area. Great coffee, and it was very nice to have the AC in the room!

The room was so well sealed that it created some condense during the night. The pillows were too fluffy for my taste.

It was a little far from the city center and you have to take a bus. Trying to figure out which bus was a little difficult since I don’t speak the local language. But once you get there, the views are beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like about the room itself was the green “nightlight” on each of the 2 reading lights by the bed. They were very bright. However, I propped a pillow against one and hung a piece of paper over the other and that worked fine to block the light.

The hotel is beautiful in a simple, clean, updated way. The room had a great view overlooking the city. There was a Nespresso machine in the room with coffee and sugar, along with 2 free pastries. Upon check-in, the manager/owner brought a refillable bottle of cold water to my room. The room was plenty large enough for 2 people and the bed was comfy.

The room was tiny for 2 people (the bathroom was fine) although I guess this is what you get for the price in Switzerland, so wasn’t particularly surprised. Restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesday so no possibility for breakfast. Overall cleanliness was actually ok but I marked it at the bottom due to finding blood on my pillowcase.

Parking was easy and location is good if you’re heading northwards over the Alps, less so if you want to be downtown Lugano. It was a cost effective stay for a quick overnight and the restaurant had a good range of international food. Appreciated the coffee machine and tea bags.

When I turned off the light, 15 min after I had a strange feeling that smth is bitting me. When I turned on the light, I found several bedbugs in my bed, drinking my blood. Super disgusting... I had sleepless night, couldn't find another place to move in the midnight. Next morning I went to the reception and it was close until 16h. I sent email to the hotel, but haven't received any response. I had to wash all my clothes, clean my travel bags to avoid bringing bugs back home. This is the first time in Switzerland I encountered the bedbugs, but this was a traumatic experience. Avoid this place until the management make a proper disinfection.
