Breakfast felt disorganised. Had to ask for basic stuff like sugar, tea and coffee. Options not on display were not explained which became apparent when others received it. Felt a nuisance having to ask for what should have been set out.

As soon as you walked on the property you could see alot of effort made to the appearance and high standards. The attention to detail was there if you looked for it. Helpful, friendly and the specialty was the fish dishes which were superb. 10 /10?

I didn't like the treatment of one of the staff. She didn't like that we came a little late to breakfast. We came at 9:30 instead of 9:00. They finish serving breakfast at 10:00. So we didn't understand why she was so mad. Also, we looked at the breakfast, there was almost nothing left when we came, so we left and ate somewhere else.

I liked the location, and that there are spacious parking places for the cars. Also, I liked the cleanliness of the room.

It was hot if we closed the windows, and there was no AC and we couldn't open the windows since there was no net and flies / moskitos / wasps will enter.

I do not think they had airconditioning as there was a fan... but it was not warm when we were there... They served a swiss breakfast with bread and cuts at the table. I you like a buffet breakfast with plenty choise then you will be disappointed.,,,

Lovely location with easy access and view on lake and mountains. Excellent starting point for futher travels. The restaurant was excellent. Comfortable, fresh and clean room. Not exessively luxuriously. Very accomodating and friendly staff.

A kettle to make Tea / coffee in our room would have been a useful addition.

The owner was rude and obnoxious. The property was not fire safe because the exit door was locked and required a key. The property is noisy because it is adjacent to the motor way and train tracks. The restaurant was closed two of the three nights of our stay and the closest restaurant is a 30 minute walk away. The hotel was closed and locked when we arrived in the afternoon. The shower was crummy because it had some weird shower curtain arrangement. I regret staying at this accommodation.

We had a tiny room up in the eaves on a 30 degree day with only a fan to circulate the hot air. If we left the window open (which we had to!) the noise was terrible as the property is located on a busy motorway and Trainline. They also closed on the one night we stayed which is not mentioned on Booking.com. So it felt like a ghost town when we arrived. I chose this hotel as the restaurant had great reviews but it was closed as this was their day off!? I wouldn’t have selected this hotel had I known it was closed and on a railway line - I think this should be disclosed on the ad.

Rooms were super warm, train tracks right next to the hotel. The restaurant underneath the hotel was also loud. Limited breakfast with not fresh bread.

We paid a lot for the rooms and the service was not welcoming at all. Manager appeared stressed. For the breakfast items, we had to ask for things and felt shy as it was very calculated. Also if vegetarian make sure you double triple check as our breakfast platter was mixed initially which they then corrected. We didn't appreciate the workers hanging out their laundry in front of our window view!

The location of the lake being opposite was the only best thing.
