Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We arrived at 13.35 on a Saturday and the restaurant stopped serving food at 13.30. Our fault but would have been nice to eat there. Having said that, breakfast was disappointing. Perhaps our understanding of cafe au lait is different to the hotels but it was not to our taste. Limited choices of food but the croissants were ok. Shared a table with other guests as there wasn’t much cleaning up going on but it actually turned out nice. These are all small niggles and perhaps I am being fussy but then I think about the vfm and it is good but not great
Great quiet location. Reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was small but very comfortable and very clean. Parking was very close to the reception and checkout was very fast. Overall we would definitely come back for another stay.

I do not appreciate the balcony set up, with increasing criminality, it feels less and less safe. Restricted Seating at breakfast is a little ennoying.
Very good food! Great location when visiting IENA.

The badroom needs more space to put the stuff like creams or travelling bags THe hairdryer is too slow Would be great addition to install a small magnifying mirror
Room was quite on the groundfloor with access to the garden. The bed was comfortable. Practical size.

I do not have any particular dislike.
I stayed there a couple of nights for some extra holiday to ride my MTB after a business trip in Switzerland. The room was very spacious well equipped incl. desk, fridge, large double bed, fan and balcony. On the balcony there was a small table and two chairs, excellent to enjoy the sunset. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, I slept extremely well. The bathroom was not very large, but very clean and all amenities on could need is there. Good bonus is that there was a shower cap, shoe polish, basic sewing kit and shower and shampoo present. The hotel is very well located to go anywhere in the neighbourhood. Plenty of parking space for residents and restaurant visits. Very convenient that there is a restaurant nearby, lovely meat and pizza. Last but not least, their staff is very friendly and helpful. Big bonus for this. I had my bike with me and the hotel/camping has a dedicated bike storage room where they can be safely stored. They have good bike placing stands to put your frond wheel in without damaging the wheel nor any other bike. Again big bonus! The only reason I did not give a 10 star rating is that I might be missing an airco. The room had plenty of sun coming in and it can be warm in the room. However at night, the temperature dropped enough and with blowing some cold air in the room, I had no problem sleeping at night as the room was cooled down.

Breakfast could be slightly longer (was until 10am). Also there was only one person for a lot of breakfast guests that even had to do reception. I felt for her on this very busy weekend.
Great location for visiting our friends at lake Neuchatel. Also really liked the pool. Rooms are decent size and not a big problem to bring our daughter along on a travel mattress spontaneously (also they would have preferred to be informed earlier).

The smell in our room was terrible, so we had to aromatise it, rooms outdated and felt like a motel rather than 3*** and too hot in room with mosquitoes biting in night. Didnt sleep

We were there on a very hot night and the room was quite warm, we should have had the windows open.
Great pool and great location 5 minutes from the lake, with a small grocery store next door.

My son (3,5) and I had a wonderful stay. This hotel has everything one needs when travelling with a child: good restaurant, safe environment, fun pool, nice playground, grocery store, friendly personnel and a beautiful sandy beach just next door. We will be back!
