We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The place was amazing, the views were spectacular. Could not recommend this place enough. The staff were amazing.

I'd highly recommend to book in advance dinner and breakfast at hotel. All home made served by owners. Reasonable prices and local products lovely attention

United StatesThey watched (with no offer to help) us 70 year old people struggle up some very treacherous steps with our luggage at 17:00. Then they asked if we had a reservation. After confirming we did, we waited 40 minutes while they prepared our rooms during which time their cat stole out of our bags some of the food we brought. When I asked about breakfast they told me it was included. The three of us had cold breakfasts our two days. After we left they called us on the way to the airport and demanded 125 francs. The breakfasts were worth a tiny, tiny fraction of that amount. At no time did they tell us we had to pay for breakfast or the cost. When we left the premises they were nowhere to be seen. They kept turning off the heaters in our freezing rooms and we had to ask for extra toilet paper. The rooms are dreary with tiny little windows covered by shutters. Absolutely, completely unacceptable in every sense of the word.
