No air conditioning in rooms (due to age of building most likely) and the fan available barely helped. It was an extremely hot time of year and it was sweltering.

This a perfect exemple how a beautifull old hotel remains modern. Tastefully renovated, so that the old charm and modern amenities joyfully co-exist, this is the perfect starting point to explore Solothurn and surroundings. Right in the old town, you are involved in the towns bustle. Don't expect a New York bustle, but a friendly relaxed Swiss bustle. The river side is fabulous with it's plethora if restaurants and bars, as is the pretty old town. Highly recommended.

No central air conditioning…had to open windows which meant it was noisy from the street below but it was manageable.

Fantastic! Stayed with my daughter and perfect for mom & daughter sweet away from home. Fully enjoyed the old town. From our window, we could have a view with the cathedral and the Christmas tree. Impeccable beautiful interior decorations and perfectly matched furniture. Even a lady at service for the breakfast was super professional. Couldn’t have a better stay.

Nothing - one of my favourite stays in Switzerland!

Loved this hotel and would happily stay again. The location in Solothurn's old town is perfect, the breakfast was comprehensive and delicious (as was the dinner in the restaurant), and the modern amenities had a traditional flare which was very appealing. Staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and overall it was a great experience.

The food was a disappointment to us but the restaurant was very busy and a lot of the diners appeared to be local so maybe we were the exception.

At breakfast, we ran into a friend who was already having breakfast. We then asked the waiter, if it would be OK to move an available table next to her 10 cm to the side, so we could sit together. She got annoyed and asked why we had not asked for a table for 4 persons. We told her that we did not know that she would be there. The waiter seemed annoyed the rest of the morning.

The hotel and our room were beautiful, and the reception was very helpful and kind.

The staff is super helpful and friendly, the hotel location is perfect. The hotel provides limited parking space (secured and clean) so make sure you prebook if needed. our room is nice and clean with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast is with plenty of options. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the food is very good.

This is the second time I stay at La Couronne Hotel with my family, and it wont be the last, and there is a reason for that. The staff is exceptional .. friendly and very courteous .. I have to mention Mr. Suter, who is extremely professional and provided us with all the assistance we needed, and more, and made our stay pleasurable.
