A very convenient location to access most sights around Schaffhausen. I had a single room - it was compact but had everything I needed. The options provided for breakfast suited me fine (I particularly enjoyed the hard boiled eggs or cooking one's own boiled eggs). Staff were very pleasant.

It is hard to find, but easy to get out of once you have the location sorted. There is no onsite parking but a solution lay 500m away.

Great location in the Altstadt, close to historic sights and the Rhine River. Excellent service from staff at both the front desk and in the restaurant. Like everything in Switzerland things were expensive, but the Creme Brûlée was worth it.

Picked hotel as Google showed it with "Free Parking" and showed car park area out front of hotel. In fact the area is paid public parking for 2 hours. This info was shown on a number of the hotel websites, but the hotel has no control over what Google states. Eventually through luck a parking space became available, but had to return to car after 2 hours to put more money in meter. The hotel sold us a orange ticket that covered 08:00 - 11:00 for the next morning to save us having to get up and be outside at )8:00. Parking overnight is free.

City centre location, ideal to walk and see main sights, Easy car journey to Rhine Falls. Clean and comfortable room for 1 night stopover. Excellent staff and breakfast.

Parking close to the hotel is tight. We had to drive around for about 10 mins before a spot became free. Good value overnight at 2 CHF.

The bathroom isn’t very modern. There is no kettle and minibar in the room.

The bed is very comfortable and the wellness area is large (3 saunas and one cold plunge).

All lovely. We had a two bedroom suite which was more like an apartment with all facilities including kitchen area. Room 414. With small balcony. It had two floors. Open plan. Fabulous

The building is an old building. Although the rooms were huge, it feels a bit different as nowadays the new constructions use the space so well. The ceiling was a bit low to. One thing I found very weird was that the room had appliances like a microwave and a kitchen, but none were functional. Theys had a message saying that in order to avoid smells, the kitchen could not be used/so the appliances...

Great location, right in the heart of the old city center. Close by walk to the Fort, and to the train station. The breakfast was good and the rooms were so big... the construction seems a bit weird, but it is because that is a very old building. The staff was very friendly. The elevator, although a small one, works fine.

Noise from underneath our room but we were there on a Saturday night. Much quieter on the Sunday and definitely didn’t spoil our visit. Could have done with more phone charging / power points. Had to juggle devices on the one easily accessible point

Just personal preference, but I don't like thin pillows, or ones that are too soft. Which, unfortunately, this pillow was. But again, personal preference. Breakfast selection felt a little small, but this is a relatively small hotel, so it seems to fit I guess.

Room was very quiet, furniture was nice. A lot of storage options should you need it (not that I did, personally). Hairdryer and coat hangers supplied, shower cubicle with a closing door. Nice wide mirror in the bathroom, and a full length mirror in the bedroom. Sauna/sunbathing facilities are offered, but I didn't use them.

Comfortable bed, very clean and spacious room. The breakfast room was beautiful and traditional Swiss-German. We had a great time. The staff gave us good advice to access the Rhein Waterfalls.

The additional one bed for one of the two children was not working although I fixed it 2 times during the night, finally the one child slept at the sofa. When I informed the reception in the morning the only response was ...I am sorry... My expectation was at least to offer a respective discount as the bed was not used because it was not working. I have two photos to share if needed.
