After an amazing dinner, the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Few bread selections, no scrambled eggs and a rather small selection of deli meat and cheeses. We were surprised given the spectacular dinner the night before.

The views were unforgettable and worth the trauma of driving up the dangerous mountain road! I don’t think the staff could have done anymore to make us comfortable. Professional s all around!

Nothing i can think of. The hotel was clean, modern and the staff were friendly and super helpful. Other than perhaps being a little limited in other facilities (sauna perhaps) I felt the hotel provided excellent value for money so it exceeded my expectation.

The views are second to none and the hotel was modern, clean and exceptionally well run. Super popular for car and bike meets/stops too.

The price is a bit high but we chose to stay because of the location.

We wanted to hike a waterfall in the area and this hotel was a good location for that. The views were great, the room was large and bed was comfortable. The hotel has been updated and it has a top-notch bathroom. It would have been nice to have nightstands and there was only one chair & a little footstool thing but there is a narrow shelf running behind the bed and we used it for water bottles, glasses, etc at night. The breakfast was very fresh and good with plenty of selection. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is remote and it's a twisty windy road to get to towns on either end but we were prepared for that and it's a perfect location to enjoy Klausen Pass.

The reception needs a letter box to return the keys on checkout

Elegance and luxury meet simplicity. The interior is built with many natural resources - lots of wood and stone. I like the provided slippers and the fact that there is no TV in the room. Prices seem fair for the location and amenities.

A piece of vegetable for breakfast wouldn’t go amiss. Some of the rooms really have no view at all, which is a shame given the hotel’s surroundings.

The only downside was the noisy people above us - we now know to ask for the top floor!!

Breakfast was superb - it seemed like they had local produce. The staff were amazing - so willing to help and pass on information and guidance. Dinner was brilliant too. You have to be slightly brave to drive the Klausen Pass - regarded as the most dangerous road in Switzerland becuase it is a bit bumpy but the views are exceptional - parking was good too.

Not cheap. Immediate hotel surroundings (e,g. car park) need attention. Menus lack originality. Wine choice uninspired. While atmosphere (and staff) wore lovely, overall result is a touch prosaic/run of the mill.

I paid for a room with a mountain view only to find a very low window with a view of a dirt wall.

It was very clean with large bathrooms and high ceilings in the rooms.
