The room rate was higher than equivalent hotels I had stayed in in other Swiss towns.

I stayed in a single room which was small but perfectly adequate for a one night stay. The breakfast was included in the price and really quite good - with lots of choice and good quality. The staff were very friendly and allowed me to leave my luggage till lunch time so that I could take a trip out of town to Bauma to travel on the Zurich Oberland steam train. The hotel is right in the centre of the old town and only a short walk from the station.

Given that the room was not huge and that we had a separate bathroom, the cost of the room was on the high side. But I guess this can be attributed to the location and the fact that everything else was fine.

The hotel is very well situated and, despite being very central, the room was quiet (no street noise or any other for that matter). The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, a decent selection. The coffee was excellent for hotel breakfast standards, much appreciated.

The quality of the breakfast was good but with limited variety.

The location of this hotel is brilliant, a 5min walk to the train station with direct services to Zurich and 5min away from all the restaurants and the lake. Everyone working at the hotel were very nice and helpful and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great in the evenings.

You definitely pay a premium for location. The rooms are basic but clean. However, because of the convenient location, I'd stay again.

Great setting in the main square of the Altstadt. Convenient for the harbour area, the train station and restaurants. The hotel is ideal for a short stay in the centre of Rapperswil. The staff are very polite and helpful.

The AC was leaking a little bit but the hotel is working on it. The price was higher because a local festival.

We ended up with our third room on a different floor which made things a little tricky but not impossible.

Breakfast was delicious. The staff really approachable and friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. We needed three rooms for the size of our party. Two were next to each other which was fab!
