Situated right on Lake Geneva, it is right on the path where you can walk and bike around the lake. Gorgeous views, nice rooms, great value. The staff was accommodating. Loved staying here. It was like old school European luxury.

The pool was freezing and too small ; needed better/ bigger area for lounges .

The overall standard is a bit minimalist considering it is a rather expensive four star hotel. I guess it mainly caters for international tourist groups. The rooms to the rear were quite noisy. The breakfast buffet is minimalist too, also comparing to other hotels of the same category.

The location is stunning and staff were friendly.

The downside is that the bed was a bit saggy and lacked support. Also, the young lady at the front desk was a bit unhappy, probably because the hotel was a bit busy.

The hotel is in a great location, close to everything and right by the lake. The facilities are a bit dated, but everything works fine.

There could have been a kettle in the room. Bathroom needed renovation. Also no aircon in the room but there was a fan at least.

Room was very nice, location was great. Staff also very helpful and gave us a kettle, ironing board and adapter to borrow.

Only 8 sunbeds for huge hotel. Sun terrace closed all 3 days for a seminar but no one ever seen on it. Restaurant staff rather stand offish.

Gorgeous building with an amazing lakeside location. Easy walking for town. Beautiful room and very spacious. Super comfy bed. Great staff at reception. Portable air conditioning unit noisy but a godsend.

Bathroom was tired but spotless. Not a big deal for us- it was a good price for an exceptional location, a beautiful old hotel.

Loved the location. Staff excellent. Went swimming in the lake a couple of times, walked down from the hotel in the robes and slippers, perfect. Had a lovely room on the fourth floor and watched a stunning sunset. Lovely simple white bedroom, clean and crisp, very fresh. Great air con.

Sorry we are not complainers … but we were not treated that great by a couple of staff members that has left a bad taste for us. (Note the chamber maid was very friendly and helpful) This is an expensive stay - we’ve splurged on one night of our 3 weeks for this luxury hotel. The fridge in our room wasn’t working .. I went down to the front desk to advise. I was told ever since Covid they have to unplug the fridges. (???) checked and it was plugged in and we cranked it up as high as the dial would go… still warm… I went to advise again and was treated as an annoyance and scolded as if I were a child . I was sharply asked with angry attitude “well did you plug it in and turn it up like I told you to??” Yes. She abruptly got on the phone to maintenance and was angry in her instructions to him and then basically dismissed me - maintenance came in .. no smile .. no hello back when we greeted him.. he was annoyed .. he barged in and went to the fridge .. spent 40 seconds on it .. said it was working and rushed out. (It still wasn’t working but we didn’t dare complain) it was very disappointing as we had purchased some wine and beer and wanted to relax on the balcony with a cold drink. Then at the outdoor restaurant - we walked up to the waiter at the outdoor counter and asked for a menu (we were thinking of eating there that evening) he basically tossed one at us and went back to his computer .. no sorry that is the drink menu we were wanting to look at the dinner one. He gives this big Heavy sigh.. (like we were a huge annoyance in his day) and kind of through the menu at us and walked away!!! It was such a turn off and let down. So we walked to a cute Italian restaurant in town for amazing pizza and fantastic service. A hotel like this with prices like this needs to treat a guest with respect. Make eye contact … smile and at least say hello. Anyone working in the service industry needs to suck it up if they are having a bad day ..

Wifi didn't work properly, and the sauna was not on. Despite my daughter asking, she was then told that they would switch it on however 15 minutes later it was still not working.

We were supposedly upgraded, room was a nice size, with nice sized bathroom. Beautiful view from our room.

No water kettle, no fridge, old facility. The room we stay cannot see the lake. The room wardrobe and toilet is really old. The parking lot is extra charged and they have also not a lot of parking lot for the guest. Quite disappointed as a 4 stars hotel. Price not match the quality.

It is in central and next to the lake. The hotel looks fancy from the outside.

Nothing, we very much enjoyed our stay.

The room had a beautiful view out over the lake with a little corner balcony where you could sit and watch the world go by! The staff were very helpful, especially Paul on Reception who helped us with parking, where to swim and much needed plug adapters as ours did not work.

The terrible noise from the casino pool on Saturday till 9 pm and the air conditioning that did not work!!! It took 3 hours of complaining till we were offered a vila room. We paid 5oochf for such a poor offer!!!

After complaining about the terrible noise from the very noisy music at the Casino swimming pool, and the noisy air condition which did not work, after suffering for 3 hours,we were offered a room at the vila, which was nice, although there was no elevator and no fridge.

It was hot when I stayed & there was portable air conditioning which was too loud to sleep with. But it wouldn’t stop me from re visiting.

Beautiful hotel & setting on the lake, room was very comfortable with large bed & fluffy pillows. The setting of the lake out front is excellent & you can swim in the lake or hotel pool.

some parts of the hotel were a bit outdated (gym, some cabinets in our room that had not been painted yet). the breakfast buffet could have been a bit nicer for the price, and even if just decorated nicer (i guess i am spoilt from being used to asian buffets)

the view was exceptional directly onto the lake. the rooms have been re-done and the 'old & new' approach was very nice. The hotel itself is beautiful and old, which we very much enjoyed. Staff was very nice.

Good stay nothing negative

We loved the view from the balcony - great room - there was a little TLC/renovation needed on the balcony (loose tiles.gaps) but otherwise lovely and staff were fab

The staffs need to be more attentive to the customers. I had told them about the missing soap dish in the toilet and shower and nobody came to sort it out even though they said they would send someone up. Also the toilets need refurbishing.
