How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Brand new hotel, in newly developed area close to the train station in Sion. Walking distance to the center of town and historical sites. Amazing breakfast. Comfortable, clean rooms with nice facilities. We got a 'mountain view' room which had a superb view of the 1000y old basilica through the wall-to-ceiling windows: Well worth the extra 20 CHF! We parked our car in the giant parking garage right under the hotel, which was not expensive. Highly Recommended!

- My wife and I stayed four nights, there were scrambled eggs for breakfast on the first morning and never again. - There was on,y one very busy person taking care of things during breakfast, clearly not enough. - Surprisingly there was no minibar in the room. - The elevator broke down and guests had to use the stairs.
- Brand new hotel, good infrastructure, modern facilities, adequate room. - Large screen TV set. - Confortable gamer-style Captain’s chair in front of the table. - Only a few minute’s walking distance from downtown.

The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathrooms are great as well. The mattress was amazing. The reception and all personnel were great and helpful. The location is central near the train station. The parking is not included but underneath there is sbb parking which cost me daily around 12 chf. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. I loved everything about the hotel. Thank you!

It's a pity they don't have any discounts for the parking. The hotel is new so staff wasn't familiar with everything yet, which had pluses (I was poured a truly generous serving of whiskey at the bar) and minuses (I wasn't informed of the terrace upstairs, luckily found it myself accidentally; some guests complained about AC not functioning and staff were not sure how to assist other than give out electric fans). Speaking of AC, it blew cold air right over the bed, so I had to dial it down to make sure I don't get cold, which made sleeping a bit too warm. Wasn't too bad though.
It's a new hotel, so things look neat and nice. Room had all the required amenities, was spacious and generally comfy. Good breakfast, friendly staff, a small bar, conveniently located over huge municipal underground parking and near the train station. Not far from the town center too. Awesome terrace at the 6th floor.

Need hooks to hang bath towels after use and although the chair provided was very comfortable, an extra chair when there are 2 occupants would be useful.
New hotel close to railway and bus stations . Electric blinds for windows. Excellent shower and toiletries. Breakfast good. Very comfortable bed and linen.

The rooftop terrace was not cleaned throughout our visit. The A/C was not cool enough and you could not alter the temperature. Some of the staff did not smile at the breakfast service. Breakfast needs some more improvements, e. g. rotten tomatoes, dirt in the lettuce, milk-based coffees were not hot enough and no cups for the eggs.
Nice location, clean room, good bed and variety in pillows. Possibility to use gym and laundry room was nice. Helpful and friendly staff in reception!

We booked a room for three adults- for this purpose the room was quite small. Construction noise starring early in the morning. New building smell. Recommended (i.e. reasonably prized) parking was 600m away.

Slow escalators
Bright and clean and modern hotel, friendly staff, good location, easy to reach the bus and train station and the centre on foot, good breakfast buffet. (Street) Noise protection is very good, if you do not open the ventilation slit.
