Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandWe were not allowed to take skis in, but there was no alternative to that. There was no dishwasher detergent or tablet to run the dishwasher. We had to buy one from the supermarket.
The location was good; it was very close to the supermarket and bus station. support was good too. we called them to ask something in the afternoon and they answered. we also received guest cards to have discounts in the city. the apartment was clean and comfy. it had a coffee machine, raclette, electric kettle, and cooking utilities. a dish washer and dining table and cooking utilities make it easy to cook and eat in the place.

United States1. There was no microwave even though it was mentioned in the description on booking.com. 2. I had to open the window to keep the air fresh and temperature reasonable -- because the apartment faces the street it becomes a bit noisy because of the traffic after 7am. Also, the church's bell tower is literally 10m away -- so one doesn't need an alarm clock. 3. The bed wasn't too comfortable -- a bit too soft. And, very typically for Swiss properties, the pillows are just tiny.
A very convenient location very close to the bus stop and a supermarket (Coop). Decent size of the apartment and an outside "balcony" (even thought it's accessible from the street). And of course, the "Saastal" card that is included with the stay and gives free access to buses and cable cars should never be underrated. Additional bonus -- a Nespresso coffee machine. Saas-Grund is a bit quieter compared to Saas-Fee (not too many restaurants / activities) but the local bus can bring you to Saas-Fee in just 10min.

SwitzerlandNot directly host's fault but really loud neighbors. Noise isolation in the building is non existant. Bring earplugs just in case. Also not directly host's fault: the email of the Saastal guest card (for discount at cable cars) is case sensitive, while it is not case sensitive for the Host's online check in site. This means I got a confirmation for the check-in but never got the guest cards. Eventually the host sent them but it was too late. Also, the guest cards should have been printed on the table, they were not.
Well equipped, clean, parking included.

NetherlandsThe apartment lacked basic amenities like hand soap, shampoo and body wash. Even in the kitchen, there was only salt available with no kitchen paper towels or oil, etc. And when asked, they told us that it is not a hotel but a rented apartment where they will not supply basic things. Even we were asked to buy an orange bin bag and replace it with the used one. It wasn't cleared that what do we have to do with the used garbage bag but somehow, we were able to reach to one of their employees and was told to drop the bag in the apartment itself.
It was a cozy apartment and the location was good. The parking was opposite to the apartment and there were 2 supermarkets close-by. Bus stop was next door.

SwitzerlandThere was no key when we arrived. We had to call the janitor who then sent somebody to bring the key. The owner had promised us some guest cards for the local public transport that were supposed to be sent by email. Since we did not receive them, I tried to contact the owner, but the office is closed as of 2pm on Friday until Monday morning. Complaints via messenger were ignored until the second evening, then two cards were sent, one in the name of another unrelated guest. The flat is bare of anything that would make it slightly cosy. No soap was provided for the bathroom. The wardrobe fell apart when trying to pull out any of the drawers. The kitchen spatula and pasta ladle still had traces from the previous guest‘s meal on and the frying pan was so dented, it could have served as a wok. Guests are requested to bring their trash to the recycling station, otherwise a fine might apply, but no information is provided where to find the recycling station. One of the bed side lamps was without bulb. The socket for a razor is in the bedroom. The wiring in the kitchen consisted of a cobbled together wiring solution using a multiplug of questionable safety. The ski room is a little unlocked shack next to the house providing no security at all. The door to the apartment was a flimsy unsealed door that did nothing to stop sound or smell from the hallway. The emergency exit plan on the door seemed not to match the actual floor plan.
It is close to the bus stop, two supermarkets and a few restaurants. Has floor heating.
