Being in August it was cloud over in the morning. We arrived in the evening and the restaurant was closed. Only open on weekend. Which was inconvenient for us. For amount of money they too expected more.

We like mainly the view of the mountains. Their breakfast was small not a huge selection.

The property was beautiful with the most breathtaking view! The room was spotless and bed very comfortable. The staff were exceptional, from the owners Bernard and Jackie who reminded us of back home (Australia) and gave us many great tips, to Pricella who was very bubbly to the cleaning lady who put a smile on our faces! We hope we will be back again to experience this again, we highly recommend!

Nothing - we had a great stay, but wished we were staying longer!

Hotel Gloria is set in a fantastic location, high above Interlaken, with exceptional views over Lake Thun. Our room was clean and tidy, and the view from the balcony was amazing. The breakfast was excellent - lovely local produce - and it was really nice to receive a visit from Bernard, who gave us some good tips for different local driving experiences! We shall definitely be returning to try these out!

I couldn’t name anything we didn’t like.

Cosy and beautiful!! The view from our balcony didn’t even look real, the room was very spacious but still felt so homey!!! The staff were so kind and helpful, one of the owners was Australian like us; it was so nice to chat to her and her husband about life, travels and Switzerland, they even left some vegemite out for us at breakfast! The hotel has a restaurant open a few nights; the food was delicious and a lovely atmosphere with beautiful flowers and views to go with it! We were given a public transport card too for our stay- for the buses and a discount on the gondola in Beatenberg which was very helpful! I would recommend staying here 100x over, everything was exceptional!

Beatenberg is gorgeous, the staff were very pleasing and professional. Pricilla went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcome for breakfast.

Could not fault this place! It’s absolutely PERFECT

The location and views are beyond PERFECT! We were up in the clouds! It’s absolutely GORGEOUS! Our room is the best! Super comfortable! The hotel has such a beautiful charm! The owners are so cool! Nothing to dislike. Since this is a very old property, we need to respect the place and handle things a bit carefully.

The location is great. You need to visit yourself to experience it. The person who attended us was very sweet. We had a good conversation about the place, we in fact considered his recommendation of visiting lauterbrunnen and grindelwald the next day. We felt really good about his overall gesture.

We stayed for a few nights and everything was perfect. The staff were extremely kind, always smiling and very helpful. They were also amazing with the kids, which made our stay extra special. The hotel is about 15 minutes by car from Interlaken, in a quiet spot on a small hill—great for relaxing while still being close to the town. Our room had a beautiful view, especially during sunset. Very clean, calm, and comfortable overall. We’d love to come back again!

You should have a car to reach the hotel. There is a bus though , running between the station in the town and the front door of the hotel .

The view is amazing , the room was so clean and tidy , everything is there for you . Jacky and Bernard are so professional and kind . Food is great , it was a wonderful experience having dinner with gorgeous views and very fine food . Highly recommend
