Excellent location with stunning Mountain views from our room which was spacious and comfortable. Very good breakfast and good on site restaurant serving the best schnitzel I’ve ever had. We had an enjoyable weekend staying here as a base for local hiking trips…would highly recommend.

Goggle maps states that the walk from Langwies train station is 600 meters relatively flat road. The truth is 600m and it's a paved road But it is not relatively flat 600m of alpine uphill road🙃

The room had a great view, the staff were nice and very friendly, the food in the evening was good, breakfast was great. Definitely be back here.

If you are coming without a car, keep in mind that it is up a hill(10 min). I was carrying a small four spinner wheel suitcase and it was manageable. And on the way back, gravity plays in your favor 😄

Located in a picturesque small village, 10 minutes walking distance up the hill from the train station. Some 20 from Arosa by train. Stunning view from the back rooms! The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere and the food is good!

A Perfect Place for a Winter Getaway! I had the pleasure of staying at this charming guesthouse for a few days, and I am absolutely thrilled with my experience. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, always ensuring guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. The breakfasts were fantastic – a wide variety of fresh options to suit everyone's taste. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, which added an extra level of comfort. A standout feature was the complimentary in-room mini bar, stocked daily with water, juices, and beer – such a thoughtful touch! Right behind the house, there’s a small hill with a free ski lift, perfect for beginner skiers or kids who want to enjoy skiing or sledding. It was a delightful and convenient option for some fun in the snow! The location is also a major plus – situated right next to a train station, making it easy to access, and just a short distance from proper ski slopes. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that make it a true winter wonderland. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable, and conveniently located spot for a mountain getaway. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🌟⛷️

Mattresses are a bit soft for some people, not a problem for me

We've never been so well hosted. They were extraordinarily welcoming and helpful. I'll take forever in my heart how we felt with my baby daughter. We would very gladly return later. We wish you all the best

My only complaint was that we couldn't stay more than one night!

This is our second time staying here. We loved it so much last year that we decided to stay again. As always, the staff are welcoming and friendly, the room is immaculately clean and the breakfast is lovely with freshly brewed coffee and champagne included. We'll most likely be back again next year too. The area is gorgeous and many hikes are possible.

I was not sure what to expect having drove from Chur which was quite a busy town, but was greeted by Thomas who was very friendly, and showed us to a lovely room overlooking a quiet peaceful valley, we had already had a sizeable meal at lunchtime, but they were happy to provide a light meal in the evening, and even some complimentary liquid refreshment in the room fridge. It came as no surprise to have a brilliant selection for breakfast.

Nothing at all was a dislike my experience was amazing from begining to end. The bus required cash as advice or pre paid ticket, out of season Arosa ski resort is shut but you can enjoy the spectacular views and 2 restaurants are open and there is shopping in Chur.

This was single handedly the best stay I have ever had and made my experience of Switzerland one of the best trips of my life. The moment I entered the hotel the warm welcome from Thomas was such a great vibe, the hotel is so cosy, has such spectacular views outside and so well kept. The food is just wow! and absolutely out of this world,, the locals are so friendly it's unreal, there is a train literally down the road to tour, we went out of season and it was worth the experience for sight seeing and fine dining, the staff really go above and beyond during your stay and are so interactive. The hotel has such a cosy vibe and bed, not to mention the continental breakfast was beyond expectations compared to other places I have stayed. A massive shout out to Thomas and his wife for thier amazing hosting.

Checkout is advertised as from 6am in my confirmation email - reception/exit was locked and I couldn't leave until around 7:30 so I missed my intended train at 7. Thankfully I had a lax schedule so not a huge problem, but worth arranging a plan in advance if you're leaving early to make sure someone's around to let you out.

Beautiful location (easily accessed by train), for one. My room was huge and spotlessly clean, and the water pressure in the shower was the best I've ever had in a hotel. Free minibar too, which is always a bonus! Naturally I slept well in such a peaceful location. When I left, the staff member was somewhat taken aback I wasn't staying for breakfast (I had a train to catch) and insisted upon bagging up some pastries and a drink for the journey. Excellent service all round - I'd love to return again when I visit Switzerland.

Everything is better than perfect.

The place is absolutely magical and outstanding. - Very stylish and authentic, every small detail is thoughtful and meaningful. - The room and hotel interior is new, made of quality materials and very clean. - The view from window is stunning. - Thomas was really nice and friendly manager. His hospitality and help gives additional feeling of comfort. - Arosa skiing slopes are just 7 km far from hotel. You can be early bird on slope and don’t have to wake up too early. - Breakfast is very delicious and full. Even for long skiing day. - Service, atmosphere and style are better than in many 5* hotels.
