The room was not amazing but not bad, the positives... the bed was fairly comfy, in general the room was not bad for 1 night to go to Liechtenstein. The staff was friendly, in particular extremely friendly lady who worked at the hotel, who was originally from Poland.

The room faced two very busy streets with constant truck noise, and while closing the windows reduced the sound, it made the room uncomfortably hot. There were no proper curtains, only thin transparent ones, so in June it was already too bright at 4am. The interior felt outdated, like a budget hotel from the 90s, and the breakfast was very poor – just one thin slice of bread per person, margarine instead of butter, and cheap jam samples. Overall, the place gave off a stingy impression. If you plan a trip to Liechtenstein, it's much better to stay in Austria than anywhere in overpriced Switzerland.

Since this gasthaus is in the town where the Via Alpina begins, it would be nice to have some information, pictures, etc. of the experiences of others. There were plenty of maps and pamphlets about the area.

Clean, comfy. We had a nice balcony. Wonderful owner and staff.

The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly. The room was very clean and cozy, and everything looked well maintained.

Breakfast was nice, but a bit more variety would have been great.

The beds were really comfy, the host was good fun, and the hotel served its purpose for Scotland fans travelling into Liechtenstein.

The hotel was quiet and clean, in a convenient spot on our journey. The breakfast, whilst simple, was plentiful and good coffee!

The curtains in our room were sheer and so once it was light in the morning, our room was light! There was only one plug socket in the room that our adapters fitted. The hotel only provides B&B, there was a bar but it wasn’t open when we arrived at nearly 9pm and it seemed to have limited hours generally.

Be careful about the checkout time, it says 11am on Booking but the host knocked on our door at 10am asking us to leave. They asked for cash payment (though they can accommodate credit card if you can't deliver cash) but I just find it a bit odd in 2025 to expect people to carry that much cash around when traveling.

Very nice stay at this hotel in Switzerland. The staff were friendly and welcoming, everything was clean and the location was convenient - close to the essentials, but also in a quiet area that allowed for a peaceful night's sleep. It offers everything you need for a comfortable and calm stay. Overall, a solid and satisfying experience. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and well-located place to stay. Thank you for everything!
