Amazing accommodation in the nature, very clean, we loved our stay here - wish we had mire days here.

It is a bit of a drive to main attractions like Grindelwald etc Some black curtains would be great in the bedroom

Lovely little cabin, nice and quiet, short walk to train and supermarket, nice mountain view and outdoor seating, washing machine handy, good english tv channels

Parking is tight

In terms of cleanliness, size of the room/house, collection of keys (it has a door code) were satisfied. I guess the only setback is its really very far from the main train station. You have to walk about 10-15 minutes to reach the bus stop and have to wait for the bus to come for you to get to the main train station. It will be ideal if you have a car which we don't, so you can imagine the long walk with our luggages in tow and to top it all its raining on that day.

The chalet is cozy, brand new and well-designed for functionality. The kitchen is well-equipped. The terrace is nice with mountain view, but the wooden doors can be opened outside and only the glass doors can be locked. The location is good – 5-min walk to Lake Sarnen, 15-min drive to Lake Lungern, 25-min drive to Luzerne. Free private parking is a plus.

The big window next to the staircase and the living room with a single bed upstairs has no shutter or blind. There is no privacy and it’s too bright to sleep on the single bed. The window near the entrance must be opened outside and it’s not secure. There is no ventilating fan inside the bathroom. As the bathroom is on the G/F, it seems insecure if the small window is opened for ventilation. The entrance to the double room upstairs is too low for tall guys.

Unique cabin in beautiful quiet area. Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and drying rack. Everything you need for longer stay. Little touches such as books and games gave a homely feel.

Everything was perfect! - the host was very nice and welcoming - parking next to the cabin, only a few minutes walk from the lake and the station. - beautifully decorated little house with all necessities: pans, oven/microwave, plates, washing machine, dish washer etc. - lovely little garden outside - very clean Feels like home.

We loved everything! Evi is a lovely host and answered all our questions :) The Gädeli made us feel right at home and kept us warm during our winter stay. This place provides wonderful amenities including a well equipped kitchen, heated floors (particularly in the bathroom), large windows to take in the views of the mountains and is conveniently located within walking distance to trails, the lake, local grocer and train station. We highly recommend staying at the Gädeli!
