We loved all of the extras- so much for the kids to do! The breakfast was great, and the family room was very spacious.

The placement of power outlets is not very practical — since there are five beds in the room, there should be an outlet for each bed; the bed sheets had stains, so cleaning needs to be improved; the indoor dining area in the restaurant feels overcrowded with too much food service in the same space.

It was evident that the resort's restaurant was experiencing a fly problem. Unfortunately, the breakfast was less than satisfactory, as multiple flies had come into contact with the food.

The resort was well-equipped, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff at the reception and throughout the hotel were very friendly and accommodating.

It did not really feel like a resort at all, but more like a family hotel. There was lot's of families with young children and most of the amenities were also meant for them (e.g., minigolf, playgrounds). Also the quality of the restaurant was rather disappointing, both during dinner as well as breakfast. The buffet's did not look very appetising, for instance the scrambled eggs seemed very unfresh.

The resort is beautifully located and forms the perfect base for exploring the surrounding mountains.

Our recent stay at Frutigresort in Frutigen, Switzerland, was absolutely fantastic and we can't recommend it enough, especially for families! This resort truly lives up to its motto of "arrive and simply enjoy." From the moment we checked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our room was comfortable, modern, and spotlessly clean, offering a lovely balcony with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains – perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. We particularly appreciated the spacious bathroom and the thoughtful touches like tea and coffee facilities in the room. What truly sets Frutigresort apart are the incredible facilities and endless activities available right on site. The highlight for us was definitely the fantastic indoor and outdoor swimming pools, which provided hours of entertainment for the whole family. It's so convenient to have such well-maintained pool areas accessible to guests. Beyond the pools, there's so much to do! The kids absolutely loved the adventure playground, mini-golf, and the artificial turf pitch. There were even table tennis facilities and a climbing tower for those seeking a bit more adventure. It's clear this resort has been designed with families in mind, ensuring there's something to keep everyone entertained, no matter their age. The location in Frutigen is also excellent, serving as a perfect base for exploring the stunning Bernese Oberland. We enjoyed easy access to hiking trails, and for those interested in winter sports, we learned it's also a great spot for skiing with a free ski bus service available. Public transport is easily accessible, and having free parking at the resort was a huge plus. The breakfast buffet at the BEMATO restaurant was a wonderful start to each day, offering a good variety of options to fuel up for our adventures.

very noisy, children were running around above us (room above) all the time. Keep in mind that a lot of children come to this hotel, and it is noisy there, so if you want a quiet holiday, I do not recommend it, the hotel is like a camp for children, not for adults to relax. Breakfast was the same every day, eggs, bacon, bread, there were no vegetables, it was just a dry breakfast. The beds are not comfortable, the pillows are very thin, it is not comfortable to sleep) near the hotel, 5 m away, there is a very turbulent river, it is noisy, so if you have a sensitive sleep, it is not very suitable)

There is one large area used for drying clothes and storing skis/equipment but it's not big enough when the hotel and campsite are full. Is not a big deal but the setup could be improved.

Not Ideal for Hotel Stays: While the location is great for camping, it doesn't translate well into a hotel experience. The rooms felt more like basic camping cabins rather than a proper hotel setup. Lacking Comfort: The amenities were quite minimal, and the overall comfort level was far below what one would expect from a hotel. The focus seemed to be more on outdoor activities than on ensuring the comfort and convenience of hotel guests
