The fact that this was our third separate stay at Gästehaus Fürlauwi tells you all you need to know. The hosts are lovely and helpful, and the apartment is spacious and comfortable and has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Easy parking is available right in front of the house. The main road to Sustenpass is close by, but the house is rurally located in a cluster of just a few houses. The house across the street is a working farm. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, and you could spend hours walking the rural road and paths right outside the front door. The first time we stayed, it was just a planned overnight break on our drive from Italy to Germany. It is a good location for that. But after seeing the place, we knew that one night there was not enough, so we planned a return trip. The first two times we stayed, our children were between 6 and 9 years old, and now they are teenagers. The space was perfect in both scenarios. This location is among my favorite vacation stays ever.

Just be careful to have good winter tyres if travelling here in the snow season. We were not prepared and had to take the help of the host to reach safely.

We were hosted by the most kind and helpful people I have met over the year travelling. Stuck in snow unable to reach the accommodation we were rescued by Felix. The apartment was great and my family enjoyed the place. The place is very thoughtfully designed and managed. Wish we stayed longer than one night.

It was amazing! It has all the utilities, the space is wonderful for a group stay and the location extremely beautiful immersed in the nature!!! The family Meier was sooo friendly, kind and helpful with everything!! Totally recommended and will definitely stay again!!

The location was amazing! Right in the middle of the Alps. Only a couple of hours from Italy and just over an hour to Luzern or Zurich. The house was lovely, clean and very friendly hosts. It was warm enough for us. The apartment looks like new and plenty of room for the 5 of us. Theres a little football pitch and park near the place too. The property has a garden we were allowed to use which had swings, slide etc, our 8 year old loved being able to just go off an play in the garden. Also theres a lovely walk right out of the property along the river with waterfalls coming out of the mountains. It makes the Lake District (where we live) look like molehills!

It's not that I don't like it, it's just that you need to pay attention to how to get to accommodation when sustenpass is closed. Nature is perfect

Loved this place. The hosts were very nice. The place is located in a small, quiet, cute village tucked into the mountains. The view was great. The room was AMAZING. The largest place we have stayed on our vacation. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner. We did a fondue and they had the whole setup. They took our last-minute booking as we couldn't find anything else in the area. I highly recommend it to anybody in the area.

The only surprise for us for cash only payment at check-out. But even here the hosts allowed us to pay later by a bank transfer.

The apartment is very nice, all quiet around and with great views. The hosts live in the same house on the 2nd floor and are very helpful. A lot of hiking places around, Andermatt is in less than 30 minutes driving, in November all around can already be in snow - the kids liked it a lot There is a garden and a barbeque place, so easy to enjoy your time in the evening.

It is quite far from the city with no shopping options close by. You should be prepared with groceries and all you need, mainly if you arrive late in the night as we did.

The apartment is spacious and very comfortable and well equipped. It has a lovely view of the Swiss mountains with beautiful nature around. Very good Wi-Fi.
