The host couple are very kind to us. We enjoy our wonderful 2 nights stay in Aletsch glacier arena.If someday my friends will visit Aletsch area, I will strongly recommend them to stay in here. Wonderful and chill time in here.And the breakfast is very tasty and delicious too.

It’s far from the gondola down to the parking and taxis are Fr. 30! I had read you’re not allowed to use the Fr. 6 electric Aletch Express shuttle with luggage, I saw people get on with bags and get dropped off in front of their accommodation (not an official stop), so if it’s not busy, I think they’re flexible. You can also contact the hotel and see if they can maybe transport you. But lots of people walk 💪🏽

Big warm light room, everything clean and comfortable. Sebastian is a great host, explained us everything in details and has made our stay with my 6 year old very comfortable. Very nice family hotel, will return for sure, when there is a chance! For skiers- Schönbiel lift in walking distance

I got a room with a balcony, and the view is amazing! The room is simple, but in with such nature around there is no need to stay in. Owners were super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast, which was a super good value for the whole stay.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is a quick walk from the gondola. The family room was surprisingly spacious with a wonderful wrap-around balcony overlooking the mountain range. The beds were super comfortable and the breakfast variety was excellent. The staff were friendly. We definitely want to return!

I visited in the summer while travelling through the Alps and I wish I had stayed here for longer. Bettmeralp is such an idyllic village - there are no cars here and the only sound you can hear are the cows ringing their bells. The hotel was excellent, great room, great breakfast, very friendly host. Would highly recommend!

It is a family-friendly hotel with a family-like atmosphere. The owner (and staff) were very communicative in many languages and always willing to help. We were positively surprised by the size of the family room (especially the second floor for kids). The equipment of the rooms is a bit simple (but adequate for the category and position of the hotel), but the owner was always able to provide some solution - e.g. there was no kettle in the room, she immediately provided a thermos with hot water. Similarly, the breakfasts - not so wide range of options was provided directly, but the owner was always ready to help. We loved the location - Bettmeralp was refreshingly calm and provided a perfect escape from the hot temperatures of this July, the views (which included Matterhorn in the distance) were great. Trails and cable car stations were nearby. Kids loved the hotel and the village (and Aletschgletscher) and expressed their wish that we spend at least one month there next time.

Really friendly hotel, they allowed me to change my dates at short notice and I had an upgrade to a double room with balcony overlooking the Weishorn and Matterhorn in the distance. Breakfast was great, beds were super comfy, highly recommended, bonus was that it was very close to a ski lift.

The breakfast was nice. The staff replenish the supply frequently. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's just a few minutes away from the start of a hiking path and a beautiful lake, yet it's a bit away from the crowd.
