In the restaurant (not half board), the quality and quantity of the food was not always at the right level. One day the mixed salad was great the other day totally over salted. I am not a big eater, but the quantity was not okay. Fish and chips: only 4 pieces of fish and too many fries (to compensate). Tagliata di manzo: 2 small pieces of beef and lots of vegetables (to compensate) - conclusion: They are almost there, but not quite yet…

Very commercial attitude, e.g. tab water during half board dinner comes at a price, 20% discount on the first drink in the bar - instead of a free welcome drink (with a 4 nights stay…)

Nice style, well decorated 20th century (?) building with marble hall. Very friendly service, particularly during dinner. Great wellness area.

The meal service was very kind but a bit too fast. Although I understand the need to be efficient, I would have liked to have a bit more time to simply stay at the table and chat without having to rush into the 4-dishes menu.

Top Hotel, with nice services: the wellness area, the meals, the extra services and the infrastructure. It was ideal for a long relaxing weekend. We stayed at the "corner room": very nice with view on the mountains and the village.

Bathrooms lack basic amenities ( cotton pads, etc. ) The room itself is very small, no place to sit except on the bed. The breakfast was too basic

1. The water in the wellness pool is a bit cold for my taste. 2. The room is very basic for the high price, would be nice to have additional amenities (e.g. body cream which in the heating season after the wellness is very needed but not necessarily brought from home). 3. My cooked eggs were constantly stolen in the breakfast room (never happened to me before LOL) I saw in other hotels pens to write a sign on the egg.

Great restaurant with delicious food on the top of the hotel. We arrived quite late (around 9:20 pm) and were still able to have a dessert after the main course. Also the bar is cozy in the minus one floor with great cocktails. We got a very clean room with big balcony and amazing view. Quite big, enjoyable wellness area with non-naked + naked sauna. Great breakfast, good selection of food for our taste. Very nice and polite receptionists and staff in the restaurant. Location is very nice, close to the station (wear boots when snowy as you can slip on the way which brings a bit downwards!).

Very pleasant hotel in a central location in Arosa. Cozy and comfortable rooms with great mountain view. Wonderful breakfast, excellent spa and wellness area. I highly recommend this place!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Faern Arosa Altein, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! One of the highlights of my stay was the spa. The facilities were pristine and beautifully designed, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. I indulged in a variety of treatments, and each one left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. The skilled therapists were attentive and ensured that I felt completely comfortable throughout my sessions. The sauna and relaxation areas were also a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings. The hotel itself is charming, with spacious rooms and breathtaking views of the mountains. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. - the room was not super clean, some hair on the bed and in the bathroom - bathroom very small - some amenities are a bit dated, especially outside around the pool

- great location, close to the small lake where we went for a swim - I think our room was one level better than the one we have booked, really nice - game room was perfect, we had some fun there

The room could have been a little bit bigger for more comfort. What we didn’t like was that there was no place in the bathroom to place toiletries and creams. Making the shower + toilet combo feel cramped.

The consistency and quality of the property was great. Also the possibility to charge your car was welcome! The road to the property was narrow and brought some adventure to the trip. The bar and restaurant at the topfloor are absolutely awesome with briljant views, drinks and perfect diner.

I was in a room on the north side, and unfortunately there was road workers starting at 07:30, requested if there was a possibility to switch to the other side of the hotel and they so nice about it and no problem at all.

Great place to stay, lovely staff, nice swimming pool, sauna, gym, very nice rooms, I would suggest taking a room on the south side, large balcony for amazing few

Not enough clothes storage space very small hanging area and 2 high shelves (one too high to reach!) no drawers - not great for a skiing break. Poorly thought out storage when recently refurbished. Nespresso machine provided in room, but we have never been charged for replacement coffee capsules in any other hotel (you have to buy them at reception) and this frankly seems mean given the cost per night for a very compact room.

Fabulous view from the balcony, very peaceful location. Staff friendly and helpful. Clearly recently decorated and spotlessly clean. Enjoyed the pool and spa but it’s a shame it closes at 7pm. Skibus stop not far from hotel.
