We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location. Easy to find. We were upgraded to a room in the main hotel. Staff were very responsive and proactive. Restaurant was great - Spanish tapas and pizza were great for us. Very flexible about us needing early departure - packed lunch provided. We were walking Tour Monte Rosa.

United KingdomAll was fine. The only issue really was that it was right at the north end of the village so quite far to walk up and down to the main part of the village to the shops if have to do it 2 or 3 times daily in the heat though probably not a major issue for most people
The rooms were exceptionally clean and very comfortable beds and good quality bed linen. I never had a fridge in my room so the host kindly allowed me to change to another room with a kitchenette. The first apartment had a lovely large balcony with amazing mountain views.

LithuaniaThe hotel is located quite a distance from the parking area – be prepared to drag your luggage for about 500 meters. :) The parking is paid and not exactly cheap.
The town itself is very unique – keep in mind that it’s not accessible by car. There is a paid parking area just outside the town, and it’s about a 500-meter walk to the hotel. This surprised us at first, but also added to the charm. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, with a cozy common room where guests can meet, play board games, and relax together. The rooms are small but include a balcony, a mini-fridge, and – most importantly – a radiator and heated bathroom floors. The sun doesn’t always shine in Switzerland, so having the option to dry clothes is a real plus. The breakfast was tasty, with a good variety of options, and the staff were friendly and helpful. P.s. Free cable car included (summer period).

Quiet and spacious room, tea making facilities in the room. Great breakfast with fresh local bread, ham, cheese and a good selection of fruit, vegetables, scrambled and self-boiled eggs - everything we need for a good start of the day in the mountains.

Czech RepublicWe had a wonderful stay at Hotel Etoile. The hotel is in a lovely, quiet part of the village but still with easy access to everything you might need. The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and communication before our arrival was excellent too. A special thanks to Frederica, who was exceptional — always with a warm smile and a nice chat that made us feel truly welcome. Our room was cute and tidy, with breathtaking view of the mountains from the balcony. The included breakfast was a perfect start to each day, with a good variety to choose from. Highly recommended — we’d love to come back!
