Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Main bathroom was accessed from one of the bedrooms rather than separate. Minor point, we were told cleaners would come in the afternoon but they kept coming in the morning.. + no plug in main bathroom sink.

The trash bin was not emptied during the room cleaning, and the floors were not cleaned very well, which was a downside. Also, there was only one detergent provided for the washing machine, so we were only able to do laundry once during our 4-day stay. These were the negative aspects.
The hotel's location was excellent, our room was quite spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The furniture was new. Our early check-in request was kindly accommodated. Thank you for all of these.

The lift is very small, and because ours was duplex apt, some walls are slanted and we bumped our heads few times accidentally and the cleaning only happens 3 times per week
It’s very clean and modern. For our families air conditioning and washer-dryer are also big plus points. The neighbourhood is very quite. Furthermore, the staff are super friendly and responsive

More accurate info re where to get groceries. We were directed to Denner, but there was a closer little shop just up the hill that we found by chance the second day. Both shops were good!

What was an impeccable service provided by professional team at EMA Property. The property look absolutely beautiful and modern and clean, plus the amenities are sufficient and accommodative. Instructions and supports during the stay were wonderful, cannot fault anything It is in quite location (but absolutely safe) and super convenient to get to the central either by walk or public transport. We cannot wait to next visit to Switzerland.

Everything was great about the apartment, I just wish it hadn't rained so much during our stay. Can't help Mother Nature!
It wasn't far from the downtown area (10 min walk) and a block from the tram we took to many places. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and store food as we were trying not to spend too much going out. It's in a beautiful building, but I get the impression people stay there for work as there were businesses across the street. I loved how quiet was at night. It was perfect for our family for four nights!

I have never experienced such a clean apartment. Everything was spotless and perfectly maintained. The EMA team is absolutely amazing! They respond to inquiries and questions immediately, and always with professionalism and friendliness. Their attention to detail and customer service made this a truly pleasant stay. I will definitely be coming back!

Impossible to find fault with the property or the amazing staff
Easy key collection on arrival, taken over and given a personal explanation of layout, facilities, and how to work everything, apartment was equiped with superior appliances, cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment, everything about the apartment was amazing was a perfect set up for our large family group of six and an ideal location in a quiet side street a short walking distance to old town and shops with tram stops a few minutes from the door. A perfect, comfortable, stylish and cosy home away from home to experience Zurich. To cap it all off my wife received a hand written personal birthday card and a bottle of champagne left in the apartment the day before our departure as her Birthday was in the day of departure- just a superb experience and stay

The rooms do not have keys for privacy
