This is a nice hotel with impeccable hospitality. Excellent breakfasts in a chic hall with a great choice of dishes and service. Cleaning twice a day. Nice sweets in the evening, tea, coffee every day in the rooms. Absolute silence and comfort. A small but very nice spa with a jacuzzi and saunas. Musical evenings almost every day. Cross-country ski trails 3 minutes from the hotel. You need to go to the ski slopes by bus (the stop is next to the hotel). A wonderful village with restaurants and a delicious coffee shop. Hiking routes that start right at the hotel. I recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday and enjoying the beauty of nature!

Excellent service and very very kind staff even in this difficult times – from the cleaning lady, to the receptionist, to the team in the breakfast room! I brought my dog with me, and they kindly provided a small bed, a bowl, and some treats. The room was comfortable, with a good temperature and all the necessary facilities. They also offered free water, and as I was leaving, they gave me some salt as a thoughtful gift and even asked if I needed water for the road. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh juice.

Hotel Edelweiss - is very high standard of comfort and hospitality. It start just from the entrance where you see beautiful and very cosy hall where you can drink something in nice atmosphere and even listen real piano by professional musician. Rooms are comfortable, I sleep very well there. And Restaurant is just a great - speciality of this restaurant - Trout (Forelle) is fantastically tasty - best one which I tried in my life.. Attention to the guest is really great as well.

Spacious room (including the bath room) with modern furnishings, cosy & highly comfy. The team was very friendly. Location is very close to the bus terminal. The wellness facility is sufficient. We love the Apple strudel & the restaurant (small menu but high quality of cooking). Price is premium but we enjoyed our stay there.

Could use more healthy, low-fat meal options. For example, no skim milk was available for coffee or cereal. Hotel would really benefit from addition of a quality gym with a rack of dumbbells (5-25kg), pull-up bar, multiple adjustable exercise benches, tricep and lat pulls.

Breakfast buffet and service quality very good. Hotel lounge comfortable and attractive. Outdoor drinks and eating in front of hotel excellent.

the nearby hotels were closed so you must eat by 9pm and I would have preferred better directions to Pontresina rather than rushing up a hill in the pouring rain to get to the Rominger store before closing- Most of the time- the staff was helpful !

fantastic location- everything was first rate from the shuttle service to the outstanding breakfast- the location and hiking near there is incredible- in order to go to outside villages- you need to figure out the buses rather than the train as Pontresina ‘s station a big walk to the town- depending on which staff member you get directions from- just double check when to go to Sils/Maria Post! Edelweiss is quite lovely!!!

Poor drainage in the shower, I was standing in a flood pool of water... There are a few steps leading up to reception, take note if dragging heavy suitcases.

Great location in Sils Maria village, very near the 'Posta' bus stop and right next to Nietzsche Haus. Not far to walk to Sils Baselgia or Furtschellas, around 15 minutes. I was pleased with the room decor, and though it was small it felt nice and cozy for me. Breakfast was slightly above average for Switzerland with some warm items like scrambled eggs and bacon. The lounge area was lovely with live pianist.

But I made a strong recommendation at the reception to improve the experience of guests with polen allergies, which are quite common. Among my reccomendations are the use of air filters in the lobby, restaurants and of course bedrooms. On top of that, thorough vaccum cleaning of floors, curtains and walls. It is not the first winter in Engadin that I keep sneezing with non-stop running nose since I catch the train bound to Engadin. All indoor facilities I entered this weekend, including restaurants at the ski runs had polen in the air, quite uncomfortable for people with allergies. Thank you for looking into this.
