Location was good near the wilderswil station 4 to 5 min distance. Room,bathroom & balcony were really spacious. Breakfast also very good & delicious ( cheese egg & cheese). Luggage storage facility available till night 10 o’clock.

It was quite hot when we were there and the fan we got, was really small.

There was nothing to complain about. Kind staff. There is a kettle in the room. Enough parking space. Good view from the room. Nice free breakfast. There were 2 bathrooms on the floor that we could use.

A little refresh in the bedroom would elevate the experience.

A charming building with beautiful gardens. The views were in stunning. We loved having the train station only a few minutes walk which took to all the surrounding areas. Good breakfast too.

However, the building is old and has three floors with no elevator. If climbing stairs is an issue for you, it may not be suitable.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms and common areas were clean. Breakfast was excellent. The location was right in the heart of the Jungfrau region, making it very easy to reach everywhere. Great value for money

Minor issue: This palce is quite expensive and only has shared bathrooms. For solo travelers who can adjust a bit, finding more affordable accommodation in Interlaken might be reasonable.

The proper is quite beautful and very close to the train station of Wilderswil. As such, it is close to many of the Jungfrau region attractions. The breakfast was excellent and had vegetarian options.

Such a lovely lodge this is. The view from our window is out of words. Very calm and local neighbourhood. Reception staff were lovely and welcoming. I highly recommend, this gives us an traditional Swiss house feel.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. Upon arrival we got a free room upgrade, which was really nice of them! The hotel is pretty close to the train station. The room also had some tea and coffee stuff and a kettle, which was nice! The whole hotel has a unique character with old pictures hanging in the hallways (assuming of people who owned the place in the past?) and old but very functional fixtures. The dining area where breakfast is served is very spacious and wonderful from where you can look out into their rose garden which looks very pretty. We also found the breakfast buffet options at this place to be most varied among the places we stayed at in the region. Overall a wonderful experience!

The rooms all share bathrooms. I was on the top floor with no bathroom so had to go down to the second floor to use the facilities. The facilities are a little out of date and could maybe use a little modernisation. The door to my room did not shut properly without being locked. This was a little annoying because I felt the need to lock my door every time I went down to the bathroom, during the night or to take a shower, and had to take my key with me. I used the hot tub both evenings I stayed there. The first night I had a lovely calm experience. But the second night, the was some kind of local group having a dinner in the hotel. This meant that the garden was full of people walking around and children playing (not a problem) but then some people came into the hot tub area whilst I was in there and put their hand in the water, they looked into the changing room where all my thing were, and it made me a little uncomfortable. I know this isn’t the fault of the hotel, but maybe the hot tub area could be made a little more private somehow, or ask other guests to respect people using the hot tub.

I really like the hotel, it was super cute and the rooms are very typical Swiss. The garden is absolutely beautiful and it was a pleasure to eat my breakfast there every morning with such a beautiful view of the mountains. And the view from my room was just as beautiful! It is in a superb location just minutes from the train station. The Schynige Platte train only leaves from this station, so super helpful if you want to go there for a hike like I did. It is also a much calmer and quieter location to stay in compared to Interlaken. There is not much to do in the town, but I think it is the perfect location to relax and use as a base for some really nice hikes. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I was able to use the microwave on an evening. The hot tub is a really nice feature which you have to pre book to use, I used it both evenings. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely come back again!

Location is excellent, lovely views, friendly staff and the hot tub was an added bonus. Yes the place is older and creaky, but this adds to experience of staying in a chalet with plenty of charm.
