The location is perfect. Breakfast (included) served at their restaurant is delicious and the portion is quite generous. Cleanliness is paramount of importantance to me and I was impressed by the way everything is managed. Do try their special dishes served during lunch and dinner at their restaurant. Really sweet, gentle and kind people. Highly Recommended !!

The owners and staff at Hotel du Pont could not have been any friendlier. Everyone was nice, cheerful, and helpful. The room was spacious with great views. Nothing better than waking up in the morning and looking out the window to see a beautiful mountain. The hotel has a long history, yet it has been maintained extremely well. Breakfast was traditional and good. We also ate in the restaurant, and it was delicious and reasonably priced. Great location, great staff, great room, and great food. I highly recommend the Hotel du Pont.

Perfect location in the town centre. All the staff are really nice, except one old guy on the night shift. Not much choice for breakfast but very good quality. The hotel is rated 3 stars but my room was at least 4 stars. Amazing bathtub with massage, really big bathroom and a long balcony. Surprised by the quality.

Location is very near the Brig main train station ( 5 min walk), with supermarkets and pharmacy within walking distance. Room was extremely clean. I was able to organize a late checkout at 14:00, which really helped when travelling with a young child. They are a family run hotel, and are very flexible. They even allowed me to store some food items that I was travelling with in their fridge. We dined there for dinner as well. Cordon bleu- highly recommend! They operate on a very relaxed, trust based system, which is so rare these days in the hotel industry. I returned to stay again. We can't wait to come back, and hopefully see how much Rowan has grown :)

The furniture in the room is definitely a bit old and worn (but comfortable). I would have preferred a buffet breakfast instead of the provided one-person-set-at-the-table, the portions are large enough but would have liked to pick out what I wanted/needed instead. Right now it is either wasteful or some guests are provided anothers rejects.

Nice location and had a great view from my room. Friendly owners and a hassle-free stay. Location is nice and central in the town of Brig in the city centre, about a 5-10 minute walk away from the main station.

breakfast is much more to be desired, there were just a few pieces of cheese and sausages served. Last day of my stay I was asked to pay the bill before 10.00 a.m. according to their rules, which I had no clue about 🤷‍♀️

The only thing not to like is that the towels are changed every day, even when it's not necessary.

A lovely, traditional, family-run hotel and where it is, Brig, is beautiful with excellent amenities and attractions for visitors. The hotel is a short walk from the railway station and next to the bridge over the Saltina, a torrent which roars down from the mountains. The room was large and well furnished, with a very comfortable bed and windows (which have shutters) which you can open properly, and the bathroom was recently installed and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is good and generous, although a bit more variety would be welcome. The hotel's own restaurant offers top-quality dining, indoors or on a pleasant terrace outside. The Wi-Fi is secured with a password.

It was difficult to find the entrance to the property as it is both a restaurant and a hotel. This should be better noted on their website. Additionally, the shower was getting a bit dated and will soon be in need of a replacement or upkeep (it was still fully functional though).

Staff were phenomenal. Breakfast was as expected for a Swiss breakfast (breads, preserves, meat, cheese, juice) but sizable. The bathroom and bedroom were both clean.
