SwitzerlandThere wasn’t a lift which is difficult if one has a physical injury or handicap. Upon arrival, the person serving in the restaurant was not friendly, even the choice of food was not so good and hence we had dinner in another hotel nearby. No one was available when we arrived at breakfast. So we had to clear up the table! Eventually, when someone came, however they didn’t apologise for the dirty jug!
We loved the location and the breakfast was good. The apartment was really great as there was a double and single bed upstairs so it was like a little duplex. Ideal for a family.

SwitzerlandThe only thing that surprised us was the relatively high price of CHF 270.- / night for a double room which seemed expensive for the room we had. Probably because it is high season and there are many hikers doing the haute route.
The hotel is right in the center of Arolla with parking in front. Nice terrace and large restaurant. We liked the hotel and our stay very much.

AustraliaThe only problem was the hotel was shut up the last night and the next morning and I was on my own there. I couldn’t get dinner but someone came to help at breakfast then disappeared. . I had to manage my own bags down many steps on leaving.

This was in the perfect location for us walking the Haute Route. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great. The room was large and the shower was nice and powerful. We had a bath which was amazing after a long walk.

After hiking and staying in basic cabins this property was such a lovely place-it had everything! There was plenty of hot water, a bath and a shower. A balcony with great views, comfy beds, nice towels and a nice restaurant.

Our 4th time here. Séverine is simply lovely. Rooms are spotless, views stunning, location perfect for the Haute Route, bathrooms with double sinks, comfy beds and so peaceful. Excellent food and brekkie. Right next to bus stop, shop and trails. We will keep coming back!
