As with everywhere around Interlaken it seems, it was very expensive for what it was.

Great location, away from the busy centre but only a short walk to access. Always very clean. Having a garden to be able to sit out in. The resident cat!

Bedding wasn't changed in the 5 nights we stayed there. The shower head was like a pressure washer (not in a good way). The pillows were incredibly uncomfortable - like sleeping on deflating balloons. Tea bags in the rooms would've been great.

Rooms were clean and of a decent size, with a coffee machine and a little terrace. The aircon worked great, there were sockets by the beds, and there were even some UK and EU power adaptors in the room. The garden was lovely, including the little shed with tea/coffee making facilities and a microwave for heating up your own food. Daisy, the hotel's cat, was also lovely to see every day! Hardly any noise from the adjacent rooms, although some noise would get in from the corridor (nothing earplugs couldn't drown out). Breakfast was varied and I enjoyed trying out different cheeses/jams etc., but there was no hot foods.

We loved it. Perfect location, very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The room was quite small, but it was enough for us. We were enchanted by the garden, a great place to relax, full of flowers. The hotel was clean, and the breakfasts were delicious and varied. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Lovely and helpful staff. We will definitely come back.

Some of the air con units made loud, intermittent noises even when off which interrupts one's sleep. Unsure if the ground floor double room for two people was incorrectly allocated to me and my husband, as it was tiny with a sink in the room rather than the en-suite. This wasn't clear on the booking so I would have raised this had we not booked 5 rooms and swapped for a larger double with my son on the first floor, this room was perfect for us. The toilet seat was loose, unsure if the cleaning staff had made Jan aware. We didn't like the pillows at all but this might be a personal preference. Beds were comfortable however.

Quiet location near the town, a 10 minutes walk from Interlaken West and 20 minutes from Interlaken Ost. Rooms were basic as expected but had air conditioning, which was the main reason for booking and is exceptional for Switzerland I understand. The weather was very warm so we were grateful for this! Communication was excellent with owner regarding our stay. The garden was beautiful and a nice place to meet up when not in our rooms. We found the continental breakfast options sufficient but others might like more hot options. Nice coffee machines in the rooms. Jan and his wife have recently taken over the hotel and we found him responsive and helpful when we needed assistance, such as not being able to use the main self-check in machine. We saw other guests having the same issue. It was easy to do check-in inside at the reception machine however. We had an issue with not being able to open the safe and he came over in the evening to locate the master code, which luckily worked since our passports were inside! We would happily stay at this hotel again and wish Jan and the team well with this venture 😊

Two of the beds were bunks and for 4 full grown adults it's not the best but it was still okay.

Aircon unit made intermittent noises throughout the night despite it being off. Jan is aware of this and trying to fix it.

Hotel was within easy walking distance to Interlaken. Bed was comfy, breakfast was basic in comparison to other places we have stayed. Hotel is a good base to travel from. Room was a quirky layout, the view from our windows was lovely.

There were only two things about this hotel which we weren't keen on. One was that it was a little further away from the heart of Interlaken than we expected. It was our first trip to Interlaken so we didn't know where to situate ourselves to best advantage. Switzerland was in the middle of a heat wave, so walking the extra distance in the heat was not so much fun. The second thing was that the room was a little smaller than we expected, so our luggage was hard to store out of the way in the room. Otherwise it was a lovely place and good value for money.

The hotel was very nice, clean and tidy with a lovely garden. As the weather was lovely, the garden was particularly nice to spend time in. Staff were nice and friendly and helpful. Air conditioned rooms were lovely and the views from our room were amazing.

The owner/ hotel staff gent was sat in the breakfast room being "observant" of us - which was just awkward as we got up to help ourselves with food and drinks.

Good continental breakfast options (veggie for me) They offered to scramble eggs for my husband which was very kind Ramona was very helpful and explained to us based on the weather how we could plan the 3 days in Interlaken and Jungfrau.

The radiators were not working, and seemingly, the air conditioning system was supposed to be used for heating instead; however, it also started to make weird noises, and so we had to turn it off.

the heat pump/aircon wouldn't work for us, we found the room a bit warm and didn't sleep amazingly, we could open the windows, but sometimes the street was a bit noisy. we didn't ask staff about the heat pump, so could have been fixable. there's stairs up to rooms, I don't think there's a lift, just something to be aware of.

The shower door needs repair as it was extremely rusty and hard to close/open. The kitchenette outside could do with a bit more equipment and facilities to help with BYO. For example, making instant noodles was hard because the kettle wouldnt fit under the tap for water. They had dish washing detergent but the water wasnt running.

The location was great and the hotel itself felt very homely, almost felt like we were in a fairy tale cottage looking out the window from our room. If we come back to Interlaken, we will definitely stay at this place again.

The property was just few minutes walk from Interlaken West, so location was perfect. There's not much of breakfast options, it was pretty basic. I loved my room, it has the view of the streets and could see the mountains!

Staff can do much better. Person at check in (around 6:30 pm) made us feel like we were a inconvenience to him. During breakfast same person did rounds 2 times....each time asked only "certain" tables as to how was everything. May be he has had a poor experience with some but that does not mean he should treat all of that kind poorly.

Good location as it was walkable to station, restaurants and shopping. Clean and comfortable.
