Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was a good location with a great view towards The Matterhorn mountain. It would be amazing in winter. The room was good for the single night i was there. Had everything that was needed. The location was a 10 min walk from the train station.

AustraliaThe shower is so small which you could deal with however should your back hit the tap regulator you may be either burnt from the hot water as it is so close in the shower to your body it’s a concern, the shower has a shower curtain which is fine if the water didn’t go all over the floor and pool as there isn’t a drain for the excess water Heating isn’t on during the summer apparently, tried to contact host to date no answer normally in summer you probably don’t need heating however coming from a much warmer country and there is a cold snap and heating is listed then you should get what you pay for

United KingdomThis apartment is on the Lower floor so not a “loft” (understand this may be a language thing) right next door to the apartment is the buildings laundry so noise of washing machines/tumble dryers until late, so if light sleeper may bother you. Bed very firm. Shower room tiny. Shower has curtain so difficult to stop water escaping. Could not find a hairdryer. No bedside lamps.
5 minute walk from Tasch/Zermatt train station to ride to Matterhorn. Spotlessly clean.

The location was nice. The parking situation is a bit confusing. Read the instructions carefully but nice to have it with the accommodation.The kitchen has most of the amenities to prepare food.

AustraliaThe room is next to the building laundry, and there are three washers which you can hear (none of which you can use before 5pm and then only one was available, which you had to fight for with other guests). The mattress/pillows terrible. Hosts notified via WhatsApp but no response. Tiny shower Not even a tee towel in the kitchen area. Find somewhere else, you can see the view elsewhere.
The view was magnificent! Housekeepers were nice and tried to be accommodating, but I suspect they have limited resources.
