How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The (portable) air-conditioner unit, although effective, was a bit too noisy to sleep with it switched on. However we left the balcony door open instead, which worked well to allow some fresh air to keep the room comfortable.
We only stayed one night and enjoyed the comfortable hotel, in a quiet and nice location. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room wasn't very nice and I forgot some thing in the room but they never contacted me. I was in the area the entire day and could have gone back easily.

Perfectly located close to the exit of the motorway the hotel is nice and easy to find. There is a big car park, a play ground for the children with an outside bar and restaurant. Our family room had one double and two single beds - perfect for us. All in all a good place to stay whilst passing through...

You can see some usage spots
It for sure is the ideal zwischenstopp. After a long road trip this is the perfect place to stop. Staff is friendly. You can park your car safely. It is ideal to relax and fresh up.

Typically high Swiss Prices but that is no reflection on the Hotel, its the high cost of everything in Switzerland

This was the most expensive place we stayed on a per night basis for our entire vacation (by >20%). A good place to stay, but not a good deal at all.
We stayed here as an overnight stop while traveling south to Italy. It was easy to access from the freeway; not tricky to find or far away. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful (even in English). The room was large and had beds for everyone. There was plenty of space, even in the bathroom. A family of 4 with a dog could comfortably sleep here for a night. WiFi worked, also in the room. There is a complete and reasonably extensive breakfast buffet here. Some fresh fruit. Plenty of fresh breads. It's pretty good to get you going on your drive in the morning. The restaurant and terrace area is large and comfortable. Nicely done for a road-side place. There's even a beer garden.

If only the shower produced a more voluminous water jet. I belief the house technician repaired it next day.
The breakfast was delicious, the room spacious snd the parking in front of the rooms is very convenient.

Very friendly, welcoming, helpful staff, good location and easy to find with plenty of car parking. Quiet room with balcony, spacious and clean. Appreciated the coffee machine and bottles of water. Good food in the restaurant and a Co-Op very close by too.

Nothing, great stay!
We stayed on our drive back to the UK- perfect location just off the motorway. Beautiful hotel, lovely grounds. Check in was super easy and the room was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Plenty of free parking, free WiFi too, bottled water and coffee machine in room. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic! Lots of choice of hot and cold options. Would recommend!
