Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NorwayBeautiful place with a lovely staff. Our train stopped in the city next to Campascio, so the host picked us up as it was too long to walk. The breakfast was really good, and we got to taste both wine and different types of jam.

SwitzerlandRoom was a touch cool for my liking - the heating didn't work that efficiently. Otherwise was wonderful. Not much in the local village but Tirano a short 4Km drive and plenty of restaurants there.
Wonderful stay, super clean, modern and quiet room. Bathroom and shower all brand new. Breakfast was wonderful - fresh bread, local meats and cheeses - so tasty In the evening you can try their own home produced wines - super nice and I ended up buying a few bottles.

Singaporevery close to the road - so light sleepers might need to close the windows when the traffic starts in the morning.
Super nice room, very clean and beautiful. The beds are very comfortable, slept really well. We were welcomed super warmly, with a glass of home-made bubbly, and could try their home-groen strawberries and home-made jams and other delights. Needless to say we were delighted! The breakfast was lovely, too. We felt like really welcome guests! The recommendation for sinner at miravalle nearby was amazing, too! Thanks for a lovely short time

ItalyThe small B&B is located in the beautiful Poschiavo valley. The design was very stylish and the atmosphere very relaxing. Breakfast was super with fresh bread, home made cake and juice and jam made from the on premises cultivation. Short walking distance to the Campascio train station on the Rhaetian railway line. Recommended!

BelgiumThe beautiful calm landscape, kind/chill hosts and refined interior design make this place a little paradise nestled in a valley. You sleep like a log and wake up to a gorgeous view and a breakfast where everything on the table is something special. It is right on the Bernina Express line (but be aware that not every service stops there).

United KingdomIt breaks my heart to say this, but staying in the top floor room with a loft with small kids was not ideal. There is a low small window that opens fully out upstairs in the loft. We decided one of us would sleep with our 6-year old upstairs (2 single beds), while the other would share the double bed with our 2-year old. The gate upstairs also does not close fully, there is a gap underneath which our little one would have been able to go under and ended up falling off the loft type stairs. It was all a bit too dangerous! I would recommend the hotel manager to look at the health & safety of that room before letting for families with small kids.
The hotel seems to be run by a family. It is very minimalist rooms and facilities, but yet very homely. They have accommodated our request to arrive a little later than 7pm due to our Bernina train arrival at Tirano. Everyone that served us on arrival, breakfast and check-out were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, with homemade jams, cakes and juices. It felt all very special. It would be a very good place to come back in winter months too.
