The room was a bit plain and the tv was super small. I would have t liked the bed to be one whole complete bed (size queen rather than who twins put together. Wish the hotel offered at least a complementary water bottle for each quest.

The breakfast was good. I like that there was a variety of food items.. I also appreciate the complimentary slippers and bus pass.

The hotel is a bit old and the hallways are quite dark, which doesn’t make the best impression, but the room was a pleasant surprise - spotless and cosy.

We had a very comfortable and clean room. The hotel staff were so much helpful and kind.

The only thing which I would improve is to replace the mini-bar in the room with a fridge. I personally felt I needed more cooling for my food and beverages.

The breakfast could be improved by adding some hot dishes, like scrambled eggs, sausages, or similar options. Also, there were noisy neighbors, so I couldn’t sleep well one night

Lovely place. A had a terrace to sit on in the morning and watch the swallows. The breakfast room is very pretty and staff very friendly and helpful. And the spot is marvellous if you like the bustle and the beauty of decay ;)

Parking isn't guaranteed, someone can take your spot even after you paid for it, if you go somewhere with the car. Breakfast could have a bit more options. Also the double bed is basically 2 single beds put together, so you are kind of falling in the middle.

Clean, good location, good value for Lugano. Public parking garage across the street which is free 19-07h.

Good location and easy walk to lake. Nice breakfast. Very comfortable bed and very helpful staff. You also get a free travel card for the area so you can travel on all local buses and trains for free.

The hotel is connected to some type of bicycle shop and there was a pungent dye smell in the hallways. Room could have been cleaner. Breakfast was so so, cutlery was stained and food not the best. There was a problem with the internet on the upper floors and it only worked on the lower floors. There was construction outside and you could hear some noise during morning/day.

The property has a good location and it offers a Ticino ticked so you can have discounted access to some of the tourist destinations as well as public transport. Staff was really nice and helpful. The view from balcony is nice.

Very simple, but lovely place! Everything was clean, the staff was just lovely, felt like staying at relatives some two decades ago; breakfast felt homey and the terrace was nice. Liked that could open my window for a fresh air.

Just needed a room for a night, a place to sleep. But didn't expect such a good hotel. Very clean, great location, nice bathroom size. Of course, don't expect luxury, but a really good place to stay for the money you pay.

No ventilation in bathroom, light cord was exposed with tape hanging down, as light heats up, crackling noise of mirror. Shower would be unusable if you aren’t in shape, very high step over into the shower. No guarantee of parking spaces. Breakfast was expensive for average offering. Not much sound insulation.

Not the hotel's fault, but it was pouring, and so I needed to take a taxi there and back. Six or so blocks cost twenty francs each way. True highway robbery unfortunately characteristic of Switzerland.

Just down the street from the train station a bit, the hotel is reasonable for the always overpriced Switzerland. Good (significantly up-charged) breakfast. Given the geography of the city, the hotel's location is particularly convenient, as while the front faces the street where the train station is located, the back entrance leads to the lakeshore (though walking back up requires you be pretty healthy! You may want to take the funicular instead.) Staff was welcoming and helpful.

The strong fragrance in the room. The bathroom didn't dry, the towels were constantly damp. The mattress was much too soft.

Very friendly and helpful service. Good location for one traveling by train: short distance both to the railway station and to the centre. Excellent bus connections.
