A very nice hotel great location but needs air con in a heatwave.

It’s a bit impersonal when you arrive after reception closes eg 8pm and there’s no one there to greet you. Not air con in my room (317) which made it a very noisy night with windows open and the town in party mode. Loud men and women shouting during the night.

The breakfast was very nice. Everything was very clean. Clear instructions for coming in late (reception closes earlier than 8pm).

The location is great a short walk from the train station overlooking the river and right next to the Aldstat or old town also only a very shot walk to the cablecar up to the mountains. A very warm and helpful welcome at reception. They had been so kind when I had to change my dates last minute. Big room very comfortable and clean and a great breakfast. Perfect for visiting this lovely city.

Our friend was in a room facing the street and it was extremely noisy after midnight. I think there is a club/bar across the street

Nice location, central, next to the river.

It's quite obvious the rooms have seen better days. Also, the cleaning crew hasn't been thorough. I expected a higher cleaning standard.

All staff members I interacted with were professional and helpful. You can see it's a family business and everyone tries to contribute.

No kettle in room. Wooden floor was carpeted, yet a bit squeeky. In summer time would be noisy with open windows as room windows were towards a busy street (was not an issue as I was visiting in winter).

Good location, free parking (limited places), friendly staff, good breakfast. Room was clean, beds comfortable. Decent room size.

Everything was clean & professional. Breakfast was very good.

The hallways to the room were very plain - just white walls and dark doors. Maybe a little decorating would make it more inviting.

Even though my room was on the street side - it was very quiet that night. There was a train whistle at 0630 AM the next day but i probably could have heard that from most of the hotel. The wood flooring in the room was beautiful and clean and the bathroom was very clean also. The room was large for a city room and had a desk area.

Located right on a busy intersection and there’s no a/c so we had to have the windows open at night and it was kind of noisy until late. Breakfast was not particularly impressive but free.

The location was excellent, just across the street from the Old Town, on the bus line and only about a 10–15 minute walk to the train station. Room was clean and comfortable.

Room was stiflingly hot. As an Australian I can make this remark with credibility ;) Temps outside were only mid to high 20’s and the room does have double glazing. They provide a fan which is very helpful. Flip side, they’d be super cosy in winter.

Location, view was great, staff were lovely, room was modern, breakfast “included”.

My room was facing the street and there is a bar right in front. A bit noisy as it was a saturday night.

Excellent location. It is right beside the "river" which comes from the mountains, an excellent surprise for me.

The noise. The night I stayed, Switzerland won the Euro cup one match and the people down the road was shouting and making noise. it is not a problem when you close the window but it was very warm so I had to open the window time to time and the noise was unbearable. there was no fan or AC in the room. no basin in the room to fill water to drink. but the staffs down at the restaurants are so nice to fill the bottle for me.

The Staffs are very good and helpful if you speak a little bit of German. The breakfast was amazing with lots of options available. the hotel location is amazing in the middle of Chur, very closed to bus and train station.

No air conditioning & room was very hot although outside temperature was very cool. We had to leave windows wide open but this was scary due to fact a very fast flowing river was right below the room windows. Also many flies came into the room bc no screens. I would not stay there with small children. Additionally, the desk person also worked in the restaurant so it was tough to find someone to answer questions.

It was a pretty building from the outside, had a very good breakfast.

We ate in the restaurant on our second evening and all had the Raclette. It was very disappointing, presentation was poor and unappetising. Not good value for money. To me it was just a pool of melted cheese with a few potatoes, silverskin onions and gherkin slices.

This Hotel ticked all the boxes for location, cleanliness, excellent breakfast, great coffee.
