We have had the most heavenly 3 days with Igor who is kind and charming and went beyond expectations looking after us. We experienced a little bit of paradise in his home and most definitely would love to stay again. ❤️

This stay is a bedroom and bathroom within the hosts home. It has its own private access. Whilst we are more than happy with this, we would have preferred a lock on the entrance.

The property is beautiful and just a few minutes walk from the Mount Pilatus cable car station. The bedroom is equipped with apple tv, iron & ironing board, coffee machine, hair dryer, fruit, as well as a fridge and microwave fan oven. There were towels provided in the bathroom, excellent water pressure, bath and a shower, with double vanity. The garden is stunning with places to sit and watch the sunset. The host, Igor, was excellent. He provided me with assistance prior to check in, with recommendations of things to do and places to eat. On arrival, he made us cocktails and also picked us up from the cable car station (its uphill on the way back!).

Perfect for a couple of days. Gorgeous garden. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Outside table under cover for snacks/drinks.

Very kind, helpful and cheerful host, beautiful, well equipped room and garden, amazing view. As a bonus you could choose between bathtub and shower.

Everything! Property (incl. the garden) was beautiful and quiet! Our host, Igor, was very helpful, friendly, and threw in a couple of delicious cocktails during our stay!. :)

Nothing! We loved it!

We loved that it was a quiet space away from the main city. Our host, Igor, was amazing to us! He accommodated all our requests and gave us great recommendations not only for Luzern but for our next destinations too! It was such a delight staying here, the room was extremely spacious and comfortable, the yard was very well maintained, you can really tell how much they care for their property! By our last day we didn’t want to leave Kriens/Luzern! If you like hiking, it’s right next to the Kriens hiking path to Fräkmüntegg going up to Mt. Pilatus. You can also take the gondola ride up which is at the same starting point!

We couldn’t stay longer

The location was quiet and the atmosphere serene and inviting. The views from the property were amazing. The garden was such a beautiful and relaxing space with so many delightful spots to sit that it became a difficult choice. The breakfast Bircher muesli was the best we’ve ever had but best of all was Igor - he went out of his way to make this the best experience ever - from picking us up and dropping us back to the train station; to lots of handy hints and recommendations, both restaurants and things to do; to wonderful conversations and a generosity of spirit not often found. His hospitality stood out heads and shoulders above everyone else we experienced on this trip to Italy, Austria and Switzerland. Absolutely wonderful. Thanks Igor

You need a car to reach it (but it's still a great place!)

This property was fantastic and we would have stayed longer if we didn't already have plans. The room was wonderful, the guardian spectacular and the host could not have been better! Igor even went so far as to lay out our ongoing travel plans to ensure we hit all the most important places on our route. We would highly recommend this facility to anyone and fully intend to come back again!

The bathroom has no door, only a curtain covering it which might be uncomfortable for some people.

Nothing - Igor and his wife have covered most things.

What a beautiful setting Chlosterli is. Surrounded by nature hearing the river running, cow bells and birds. And the views over Lucerne beautiful. So peaceful and relaxing. The host Igor is such a kind and generous man. He cares about his guests. The apt was great. Lovely outdoor space to use and enjoy the views. Very clean and comfortable bed and room. Good size bathroom. Close to Mt Pilatus and Kriens shops. Bus ride direct into Lucerne itself. Breakfast at Chlosterli is wonderful and to look out over Lucerne a great way to start the day. Thankyou again Igor was truly a special stay. Highly recommend.

The host is very friendly. He does his best to make our stay smooth and confortable. Very beautiful yard, quiet night. He also prepare fruits for us. Should be an 11 out of 10.

Igor, the host, is very kind and will help you to discover the most beautiful places in and around Luzern. We got a welcoming drink and talked about all different activities Luzern offers. I even left my phone charger in the room and Igor was so kind to help me retrieve it. Amazing host, would fully recommend.

I liked everything about Igor's place and i wish i had more time to stay another night or two.

The location was perfect for my short stay in Lucerne. Lovely quiet neighborhood, but yet very close to the city center (about 10-15 min drive, depending on where you want to go) The room was very clean and spacious, the bed is massive and comfortable (i had a good night sleep). Bed sheets and towels smelled lovely. Bathroom was spotless with lots of space. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. There is also a bath tub, next to the window, but i haven't used it. There is a very good coffee machine in the room as well. Outside the garden is absolutely gorgeous, with an amazing view of the city. The property is surrounded by woodlands and you have your own private entrance. Last, but not least, the host Igor is really the coolest guy. Very polite, friendly and always there to help, smiling, hospitable. I would prefer Igor's place to any hotel and i really recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Lucerne.

We stayed for a short time..:(

We went to Luzern for a family visit and were looking for a quiet and peaceful place where we could relax in nature, and all for a reasonable price. That's why we chose to stay at Chlösterli. We parked in front of the beautiful house and were greeted by Mr. Igor who took us to our room. The place is magnificent, with a private garden with stunning views. Very close by is the cable car to the famous Pilatus. The room was spotless, linen bedding, plenty of pillows to cater for a comfortable night. In the room we found a Nespresso coffee machine + coffee capsules, a kettle and tea, as well as fresh fruit and a warm welcome card. The private bathroom has a shower and bathtub with views of the garden. Outside the room, a table with chairs, minibar, music box and more chairs in the outdoor area for sunbathing. All this with a breathtaking view. You can park your car and use the free public transport card to go to Luzern in 20 minutes. Breakfast was served punctually at the chosen time and everything was delicious. Anyway, this will be our place every time we visit Luzern. Because besides the place being spectacular, everything in the house was done with great care and Mr. Igor's friendliness and hospitality exceeded our expectations. Thank you very much for having us!
