Detour due to road construction was difficult, but that was unavoidable. Excessive noise from the upper apartment was a negative (running children), but that's a case of inconsiderate renters.

Beautifully decorated and well-equipped apartment with convenient parking and a tremendous view. Great kitchen (it even had oil and spices). Laundry access. Thick, fluffy towels. The hosts have provided a comfortable and thoughtful environment with many nice touches. We would gladly rent it again.

Location was fabulous - quiet with an absolutely amazing view. Too far to walk into town though. Chalet was lovely, and very well equipped.

Location from grindlewald town centre - made worse (longer) due to the road construction. Had to come home via taxi every night as the last local bus route ends at 6:30pm

The size of the chalet, attention to detail, amenities, decor and basically everything! It’s a lodge furnished with a lot of love and it shows in every corner. We cooked, ate and laughed together as a family in the perfect mountain getaway

The only downside we could think of, was that the TV doesn't have cable or antenna and screen mirroring outdated. Can really only be used as a dvd-player. Really didn't matter, because we spent all of our time on hiking trails.

Nice, clean and spacious apartment with an amazing view. Location was excellent. Very calm neighbourhood, but only 4 minute walk to bus stop, or easy 30min to the town center. There was really everything we could have needed in the apartment.

Nothing that I did not like. However, my suggestions would be to make sure that the bathrooms have functional locks (with keys) for privacy. One of the bathrooms had the keys missing so the bathroom could not be locked while in use. Secondly, a microwave would come handy. It was already getting warm in the middle of June so would expectedly get a lot warmer during the summer. So, I would also suggest fans for the rooms during the summer time. The windows can be opened but all of them do not have nets so insects and bugs come inside from time to time. My suggestion would be to fix nets on the windows to keep off bugs and insects so that they can be kept open during the warm summer season.

The location is fantastic. Up on the slope of a hillock with an unobstructed view of the Eiger all the way to Kleine Scheidegg. One can spend leisurely moments soaking in the charm of the gorgeous montains. The apartment is large and has all the things one might need for a short or medium term stay. It has a washing machine shared by other apartments in the same chalet, adequate cutlery and kitchen ware, coffee machine and coffee pods. It lacks a microwave which would make it easier for guests to heat up premade meals, Being located some distance from the city centre and on the slope of a hillock, there are no shops nearby but has a bus-stop a few hundred metres downhill. In summary, a great apartment to relax and rejuvenate.

This place is absolutely stunning! The apartment is beautiful, cozy, and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The views are breathtaking, and the location is ideal for exploring Grindelwald. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming — their hospitality made us feel right at home. Staying here was truly an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

The road access to the apartment was block due to roadworks. It would have been nice if the booking agent would have updated this information on their website. It was terrifying driving around the diversion.

The chalet is clean and have 2 floors with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers. Clean place and super nice view from all 3 sides. Self check in with clear instructions. Easy to communicate with the host through booking messages with fast responses. Washing machine and dryer available in the lower floor. Several attractions near by and all brochures available in the chalet. Super nice message been left for 🌹

The listing indicated that there was a washer and dryer in unit we were renting , this was not the case. The washer and dryer is in the basement of the facility shared by other occupants and is also coin operated . This was cumbersome as we did not feel comfortable leaving clothes in dryer or washer while we left for activities that were already planned each day we were there . We felt misled when booking and probably wouldn’t have chosen this place because we REALLY needed a washer and dryer after traveling for 10 days without one , we had run out of clothing and were depending on this important feature . One of us had to stay behind during our trip just to do laundry and miss out on a beautiful hike and lunch . Please list washer and dryer location is not in apartment and is also coin operated for full transparency to future guests . Otherwise this home was amazing and the location was beautiful !
