We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

QatarOne small downside was that the pricing felt a bit on the high side, especially for families staying multiple nights. Also, the check-out policy is quite strict, so there’s little flexibility if you need a later departure. Just something to plan around.
We had a truly memorable stay at Chalet Sole in Wengen. The property is spacious, modern, and tastefully furnished, with stunning views and a peaceful setting. It’s the perfect base for exploring the Jungfrau region. The hosts were exceptionally kind and attentive, always available and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable.

United StatesI recommend calling a taxi from Lauterbrunnen or booking a ride in advance. I made the mistake of thinking taxis would be available when we got off the train but there was nothing in sight. We thought the walk wouldn't be that bad - and it's not unless you're dragging luggage. It's a serious uphill climb.
The apartment was perfect for our family of 6. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. The location is great. The whole town of Wengen is magical. You really can't go wrong with scenery and beauty. And everything is within walking distance. After a week on the road we really enjoyed being able to buy food at the grocery store and cook meals in the apartment. The kitchen was well stocked. We loved our stay!

United StatesThere was A LOT of hair on the carpet of the chalet we were in. Almost like it had never been cleaned. My husband is very picky when it comes to cleanliness and this was a great spot for our family but definitely not as clean as we would have liked or expected.
Wengen is such a beautiful town - its so gorgeous it looks fake - we had the best time with our family and made so many wonderful memories!
