The charm and character of the place. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. When traveling to Switzerland this is more of what I think of as that quintessential place to stay. My room was great! The place is more on the edge of town but only short walk (10 minutes). Which is actually nice walk after eating at a restaurant in town.

We had a wonderful time during our 4-night stay. We felt so welcomed and cared for by the owners. The place itself is nicely renovated and the room was set up with extra care for my kids, with nice surprises and even a stool in the bathroom for my youngest. Most importantly, the room was spotless which is super important for a cleaning freak like me. The vilage is beautiful and tranquil. Highly recommend.

The place was clean and spacious. The hosts were nice and friendly. You could get insights on travel around the area from the hosts. It's a bit of a walk uphill from the nearest bus station though.

It is a 15 walk to the train station 6 minutes to the bus station but coming back it is all uphill which wasn’t too bad from the bus stop but too much for me from the train station. Also it did have a small fridge but it didn’t work great and the plugs need the skinny adapts not the round ones. So I only had one of those with me. That was different than many other European cities

The hosts were great with communications, super helpful and really nice people. The room was clean and well equipped even had a fan in it which was helpful

Fritz and Gabi were wonderful hosts- they gave us great information about fun things to do in the area. Breakfast was delicious and the beds were very comfortable.

The family room is very big with 2 beds. A partition could be installed in between for a couple privacy. Although the breakfast was amazing however a new variety should be cooked for a guest staying for a longer duration.

This was a fabulous 4 night stay. Gabi and Fritz were so helpful in suggesting activities and transport options. Room was great, location is picture book pretty and breakfast every morning set us up for the day ahead. Highly recommend.

The chalet is at one of the best location of switzerland with easy access to all the important locations , jungfrauch, Grindelwald lauterbrunnnen. Gabi and fritz are an excellent host accomodating all request to make the stay a memorable one . Chalet is a 7-8 mins walk from wilderswill railway station and 5 mins walk from bus station. Breakfast served is fresh and good

Gabi, Morena and Fritz are amazing. They are the nicest hosts you can hope for with loads of recommendations, answers for any questions and the absolute best apricot marmalade made by Gabi herself. Room was huge with very comfy beds and loads of space to put luggage for the 4 of us. Also it was literally 5 steps away from where we parked our car

I totally loved our stay at Gafri! Gabi and Fritz are very kind and warm. They location was fabulous, it's bit of a walk from the train station but the there is bus and walk is so beautiful and calming that we loved it. It's so neat and clean, if you are cleanliness freak like me, you would love it here. Breakfast was good! Rooms were great and had all basic amenities that one would ask for. I would highly recommend this place! Here is a pic of my son with Fritz who he almost considers his grandpa now 😁

Lovely and quiet location. Great hosts, always ready with information. Great breakfast with amazing home made muesli. 😊 Loved it. Very decent sized room. Very clean. Loved the fruits and goodies found in the room upon arrival.
