Rooms without a balcony or view seemed small and less desirable.

Great location. 2 min walk from the train station. Clean room, nice balcony with wonderful views of Eiger. Nice little breakfast.

Hope the family room toilet had a lock as it was shared by 3 adults. We had to request for a key at the reception.

Love the location! The mountain view outside the balcony was mesmerising! Also the beds were the best I had in Europe!!

Walls are extremely thin and we could hear occupants above us walking/moving stuff through the night and that kept us up. Patchy WiFi connection which was frustrating.

Excellent unbeatable location. The balcony gave us good views.

Top floor apartment has very low ceiling for the platform main bed so at 6'1" it was awkward to get in and out of bed, hit my head a few times. Pillows were a little hard and the staircase was not lit at night, so navigating the stairs in the middle of the night to go to the toilet was a little difficult. Breakfast doesn't open till 7 30am, so it's a little late if you want to get an early start on the day to beat the crowds .

Great facilities in the apartment, the ability to cook some meals helped keep the overall cost down. Great shower and plenty of room overall. Nice little balcony with seats to enjoy an afternoon beer was relaxing and surreal. Breakfast included was adequate. Really friendly and helpful staff.

The room wasn't hoovered or swept when cleaned, seems like just beds made and room tidied.

The location is excellent, just feet away from the train station and bus stop as well as walking distance to many of the main gondolas.

Breakfast was good but there was limited variety for 3 days stay. No hot drinking water available.

Hotel was next to the train station and opposite of Coop. Room was big and cosy with a balcony to admire the mountain view outside. Staff was able to help with enquires about buying tickets.

We loved our stay at Wolter property. We are a family of 3 so we were staying at their studio apartment which was right behind the hotel. With kitchen, balcony and all necessary amenities it was a very pleasant stay. Coop, migros, grindelwald First station everything was nearby. Breakfast was amazing with beautiful view from the restaurants. Staff was really good and Helpful. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Wolter.

The hairdryer from the bathroom didn’t work, but the gave us one from the reception. We asked for an adapter for European sockets, the guy at the reception said he didn't have one because other customers stole it. The next day we asked again, and the lady at the reception gave it to us with great pleasure. Why didn't he want to give it to us initially?

Small thing: in the shower on the 3rd floor there is no shelf where I could put my shower gel and shampoo.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. I appreciate all the help during my visit. Very good value for money with the top location.

No kettle in the room, no air conditioning, pricey.

Great location, nice bathroom, clean, good breakfast, huge luggage storage, heater for the cold winters and electric fan for the warm summers.

The bed was not comfortable at all. If one has back problems, such as me, that might be an issue...

The room was small, but cosy. The balcony was very nice and with an amazing view to the mountains. It is right in the city center and two steps away from the train station. Lovely place.

Perfect location for our 4 day stay. We stayed in a family apartment. Our balcony had lovely views. Apartment well appointed with perfect Swiss charm. Staff were lovely and friendly.

We had a room on the top floor with a large balcony overlooking the village, absolutely lovely outlook. The only possible criticism would be the lack of a solid banister railing on the stairs to the room.

Bathroom could be refreshed so as the carpet in the bedroom. More annoying was the cleanliness in the bathroom which could have been better. Maybe it was just bad luck.

Staff was very welcoming and location is super convenient for Grindelwald. Breakfast was fairly good.
