We stayed in a charming two-bedroom rustic house located next to Casa Rossa. The accommodation exceeded my expectations and we had an excellent experience. The house is situated right in front of the river, surrounded by the lush nature of the valley, which provides a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The interior is very well equipped, spotless clean and comfortable. The terrace is spacious, with cozy chairs, a parasol, a grill, and a beautiful stone table where we enjoyed breakfast outdoors, always with a stunning view of the mountains in the background. The jacuzzi is excellent and offers a lovely view. The garden around the house also deserves mention:, it is impeccable, very well maintained, and contributes to the beauty and peaceful feeling of the place.. Communication with the host prior to our arrival was excellent. Another positive point was the kindness of the host, who allowed us to check in earlier since the house was vacant when we arrived. The parking lot, located across the street, is spacious and easily accessible to the house. Public transportation is also very convenient, there is a bus stop practically in front of the accommodation. As soon as we checked in, we received the Ticino Tickets, which greatly facilitated our mobility around the region. We hope to return on another occasion. It was, without a doubt, a memorable stay.

Very clean apartment and I liked the interior styling. Bed was excellent Fireplace was nice, because of the bad weather. Good location for climbing. Basically no need to drive anywhere. Feels a step above most places I've stayed in. Host was very helpful.

Nothing really, we noticed some small fungus on the walls, however, given the constant moisture from the river that is probably difficult to contain. The bathroom heater is a small wall-mounted warm air blower that doesn't do much but if both ovens are fired up it is warm enough in the apartment. Had we arrived earlier, the following would not have been an issue and this is really in no way meant as a negative comment towards the property or the owner, just a few hints for other travelers. We arrived around 10:00 pm and had to search a bit to find the right entrance. When I asked in the restaurant next door (they were wrapping up for the day) I was asked to check with reception which was odd as reception was already closed. They didn't speak English so I could have misunderstood that they meant I should contact the owner Davide had mentioned in his message we could contact him anytime but I really didn't want to disturb anyone after 10:00pm so we searched a bit and eventually found everything. There are 2 gates, the key boxes are on the 2nd (small) gate, make sure to bring a flashlight as there is not a lot of lighting to find the correct lock box and enter the code As it is easier, we parked on the restaurant parking to offload the luggage and I guess if you just park there for a few minutes it should be fine, just move your car to the designated parking after offloading.

Nice and super-clean place in the Verzasca valley, directly by the Verzasca river. The drive alone is beautiful during the daytime, especially along the curvy road leading along the Verzasca river. Expect oncoming traffic (incl. busses) so be alert, some portions of the road can be very narrow and I can imagine in summer there will be lots of traffic including campers and the mentioned buses. The apartment we stayed in (Superior Brione) was small but cozy, with 2 wood-fired ovens, one in the living room and 1 in the bedroom. When we travelled (end October) we were very happy for those as the place has no other heaters and felt a bit damp and cold when we arrived. A very comprehensive manual on the dining table explains the house features, from recycling to excursions to nearby restaurants to how to operate the ovens. Make sure to read the instructions as a bit of finesse is required to get the ovens going. Firewood is provided and more firewood can be collected in the "Cave", an underground storage where you can also buy local specialties (honey, spices, etc.). The bed was comfortable as were the chairs and sofa in the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with a dish washer. Outside is a small outdoor siting area. The parking is not on-site as such but across the road and down some steep stairs. The parking is not on the large parking area in front of the restaurant (parking there might get you towed) but just before that down a (narrow) path to a designated parking areas marked with "Reserved - Casa Rossa". You don't need a key/access card to park there. When walking up the stairs be aware that there is no sidewalk and as soon as you step off the stairs (or, on the other side, out of the property) you are immediately on the main road, with regular traffic.

One tiny thing: I am not sure why, but we were not able to heat the water in the jacuzzy above 33℃ - it was still nice, nonetheless after 10-15 min I wished it could be a bit warmer.

The apartment was super nice: tastefully furnished and very pleasant to spend a rainy day in, lighting the fire in the fireplace gave our stay an additional charm. The kitchen is fully equipped, you can find there a small oven and toaster amongst other things. The jacuzzi has a beautiful view on the mountains and we used it daily. The resort is situated in a very good spot: 2,5h walk to Sonogno one way (if you plan to use a bus on your way back, keep in mind the gap between 12:20 and 14:50) and 2h walk to Ponte dei Salti the other way - both directions are must see, amazing views. The restaurant right next to the resort serves very good meals and tasty breakfasts - highly recommend to check it out.

The location is perfect, the river is just a few minutes away and also the hiking trail. The busstop is right in front of the house. The apartment was very nice and cozy. It had everything we needed for a short trip! The check in was easy.Davide the host was really friendly and helped us with all we needed. We would definitely book again and highly recommend it!!

Warm welcoming by the host, much earlier checkin than expected, fantastic location. Fully equipped apartment, bus stop just around the corner. A relaxing dip in jacuzzi. We were simply astonished and recommend it to anybody without any hesitation.

The restaurant next to the apartment wasn't great, and it's the only one close. Best to travel a bit to eat or to make your own dinner.

The apartment had a beautiful garden and great view. The host was very nice. We were also pleasantly surprised by the book with things to do in the area that was left in the apartment. Overall, we had an amazing time!

Small plastic shampoo bottles need to be replaced by something more environmentally friendly Restaurant next to the hotel doesn’t have very good food. So either cook yourself or go to one of the nearby villages.

There are several apartments shown on the Booking.com site and it is not clear which photos go with which apartment. I thought I booked a 2 bed 2 shower room apartment because that seemed to correspond with the photos, however on arrival we did not have the apt I thought I had requested and there were no 2 beds available. We did however use the sofa bed and the host promptly arranged bedding to be brought. Need to double check confirmation and description provided. The garden is beautiful and there is a secure gate. This is just as well as the gate opens directly on to the road. If children in the group need to be really watchful that they do not go beyond the boundary It would have been useful to have a microwave and recycling bags/bins I did not feel comfortable using the hot tub as there was a couple cuddling and it would be too awkward to enter the water.

Fabulous scenery, lovely garden - wonderful to sit outside and hear the sound of running water from the river and see the snow capped mountains. At the start of the Bobosco Trail - the most beautiful walk we have ever been on. Woodlands, waterfalls, boulders, striated rock and the fast moving river plus of course the Ball puzzles. We took longer than expected because we kept stopping to take photos Great shower room which functions well with large shower and stylish decor Useful kitchenette Good to have a hot tub on site

There was no kitchen extracter, and as we cooked mostly ourselves, it was difficult enough to get the cooking smells out.There were lots of different coffee sorts ,my husband enjoyed this but I like tea so a few lipton tea bags or one or two Herbal teas would have been welcome on the first day.

To enjoy the jacuzzi in the evening after our hike.The apartment had all that we needed. I liked the mosquitoe nets on the windows.
