They didn’t tell me that there was the possibility to park for free outside the hostel, instead they made me pay 15.- for the Hotel Sonne parking lot.

I really like the coziness of the bed, the presence of an air dryer, shampoo & body wash, and body lotion as well. The breakfast included at Hotel Sonne was really good and the staff were so kind.

No ventilation/fan/AC. Room is warm in the sun and air is stuffy and filled with smokes. No laundry. No cloth hanging place. No lighting outside the building front door. The lights is only on after walking inside.

The free pass is a good surprise. I got to use well.

Close to city, lake and spa. Bus stop is just near. It is very clean. Good Wi-Fi. I recomend this hostel, if you look for cheaper accommodation.

Lovely food, very welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely surprise was an included free pass for use of all local buses and ski chairlifts! Basic room but when you just need somewhere to sleep, was perfect.

The Hostel is quite far from the train station (but there is a busstop in front of the Hostel with frequent connections) and quite expensive (but it's Switserland... so the hostel was not as expensive as the other options). Only real complaint for me were the cleaners who barged into the room without knocking.

It was a private-bedroom / shared bathroom set-up. Very relaxing after a few weeks of shared bedrooms for me. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.

nothing, property met all expectations. it’s not luxurious but don’t expect that!

such a good value for money. our 4 person room was massive and perfect for a ski weekend considering you are barely in the room. shared bathroom was completely fine and I would definitely stay again. affiliated with a hotel and we got a 2 for 1 deal on skiing which was an incredible value.

Beware there are stairs and you may have a hard time with heavy luggage. It is about 100m away from hotel Sonne(the reception). I found it a little bit hard to find the entrance of the hostel. Facilities are hostel level so don't expect too much It is no sound isolation so it is very noisy when people moving around.

I would strongly suggest you choose the breakfast while booking. The breakfast has variety choices. Balcony included. Perhaps it is too cold to stay outside and enjoy during the winter. Wifi speed is good.

I'm nearly 70yo. There was no mat in the bath and it was fairly slippery. The were no handles around the bath to keep me steady whilst taking a shower or to help get up and out of the bath. Anytime anybody flushed the toilet it woke me!

swiss hotel management was unpleasant. we wrote to the hotel a whole month before arrival and begged to change the number of guests and the number of days - we requested to shorten the stay - the only answer we received twice in a row was that we do not have the right to a refund - we did not want that and we confirmed that we do not mind, just let them count that we will be 3. after we arrived at 11 in the evening, after a 10-hour journey, the room was not ready and the next day the hotel management was unpleasant as if it was our fault. I felt inferior. Never again.

Italy speaking personal was realy nice and pleasant. Place was clean and location is great and quiet. Restaurant for dinner is great!

Bathroom unusable for shower. (mini bathtub sides TOO HIGH. Unable to turn the shower on. Confusing instructions on how to contact front desk... & phone in the room didn't work)

Nice breakfast could have some more choices

May be a hostel type with shared bathroom but the experience was very good. The place has earth shades making you feel extremely comfortable. I just liked it a lot. It feels like a log cabin wooden roof etc feels excellent!
