The terrace and the view...absolutely amazing! Both early morning or late in the afternoon.

The apartment has a beautiful view of the lake and lays really comfortably in the hills. We loved the peace and quiet with the views. The terrace had plenty of space as well as chairs, a table and an extendable sun awning that provides shade. Inside was also very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to cook.

For those wishing to be closer to tourist attractions, there may be better options but for us, we wanted peace and quiet, away from noise, to unwind and decompress from our busy working lives. Casa Cristina was perfect.

Great apartment in a very peaceful location. Fabulous views and close to hiking trails. I would recommend the Monte Bar hike and highly recommend stopping at the Capanna Monte Bar restaurant on the way up. We enjoyed rolling out our yoga mats on the balcony. Valle Verzasca is also highly recommended for a hike along the most stunning river - best to go early though as parking spaces are limited.

The apartment is new, clean and fully equipped. The owners have also prepared tips for trips and restaurants in the area. I recommend, it's a beautiful place with an amazing view of the valley and Lake Lugano.

It's quite a road up to the apartment. Relatively far away from points of interest.

The location is beautiful, the apartment is very cosy and stylish, everything was great and exceeded my expectation. Also, the hosts were very helpful and quick to respond.

Very comfortable, calm, clean, well equipped apartment with generous terrace with a view (the same as in the pictures). We were there to visit extended family and not for "regular" tourism. So that I can’t say much about the place as a touristic spot, but the apartment was great.

Everything was perfect :-) Silvia made sure that we had a lovely stay at her apartment. The apartment is in a lovely location with beautiful views of the mountains and Lugano :-) very clean. - The Saturday morning, when waking up at 9AM, we had the surprise to see someone starting to cut the grass in front of our bed, with the noise that goes along with. The garden is surrounding the apartment and the terrasse as it is a ground floor flat. So, when we wanted to take the breakfast on the terrasse on that sunny day, we were just taking it with the person cutting the grass next to us. We found out that the owner sent us an email at 7:30AM to inform us that somebody will come ”to take advantage of the dry day to cut the grass”, not asking if this is fine for us but simply saying “sorry for the noise”. However, the grass was not very high to require an immediate cut and the neighbors took advantage of the dry day during the week to cut their grass. - Tiny access road to the parking lot; it’s difficult to park with a medium-size car, I am not sure it would have worked with a longer car. - Bath towels are old and very rough.
