The staff at Carina were incredible. The room itself was well designed, comfy beds and the facilities were really good. Breakfast was a highlight and the chef was absolutely lovely, would definitely stay again when I’m back in Zermatt!

While the other hotels have a shuttle service from the train station, Carina didn’t offer one for the guests which made us uneasy. The management can think about it and improve this for their customers as the facility is little far and it was hard to walk with luggages.

Liked the Matterhorn view from my room. Breakfast was good with nice variety. Room service was great. Overall the facilities were very clean and refreshed. We did t have any issues.

As for the suna it would be better if they open like 9am-9pm, otherwise you could only use during 4pm-9pm, a bit too short

Good hotel, good breakfasts. Excellent and very friendly staff. Especially the ladies from Portugal. Location reasonably close to the station, but gently farther from the center, but Zermat is so small that it does not bother. You won't see the Matterhon from the ground floor or garden. Good internet and very clean!

The lock boxes aren’t sprung at all, it made it moderately annoying to put things in and out of them since they were buried next to the bed. Just a minor inconvenience, a gas spring or a latch of some kind could easily solve this.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and linens. Bathrooms were also very clean and the showers had good water pressure. Hangars in the room were helpful for hang drying laundry. The breakfast is incredible, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the mini croissants, crepes, and coffee were.

Our room was on ground level and looked into the hotel next door, which meant we kept our blinds closed the whole stay. A small thing, but all the plugs (except one) had light switches built into the same outlet, making it impossible to plug in an adapter. We had to charge devices (camera/phones) off an outlet at floor level in the entry way. Please provide either a single outlet, or USB charging by the bedside table(s).

The hotel was a great "home base" to explore Zermatt. The staff were very nice. Due to our scheduling and timing of availability we could only have breakfast about half the days of our stay, but it was excellent. I wish the spa hours were a bit longer so we could use them more. It was sorely needed after long hikes.

Maria was absolutely amazing and made us feel at home. She was so attentive at breakfast and offered great advice on what to explore in Zermatt making sure we got the most from our stay. The room was clean, breakfast was super tasty and all homemade. We will be happy to return back and hope to see Maria again!

Prob one our fav hotel in Switzerland during our 12 days trip. Beautiful, comfortable, amazing view from the balcony, friendly staff and tasty breakfast included. Love the location that is slightly off the Main Street so it’s quiet but close to all view points and where we want to go!

It'll be nice to have some selection of hot breakfast.

Nice and clean, room small but enough space to move around. Owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Location was perfect, close to the village and train station. Love the water pressure shower, bed was comfortable. On the nice day, you can see Matterhorn from the street down below the hotel, by the river.

They didn’t have enough staff (only 1 person working) at early breakfast hours, and we had to scout for plates and cutleries from the drawers on our own so it was kind of a pain. The breakfast selection was really small and the coffee was kind of bad. I’d recommend just getting breakfast at coop.

The view from our window was amazing! Walking distance to the train station so relatively convenient. Really nice, clean and stylish designs.

Location, as it was a bit quieter than main street, could walk e erywhere no need for taxi unless you have too much luggage. Breakfast great, cosy room, had everything a solo traveller needed. Staff excellent and friendly. Didnt use the sauna room, but it looked great.

Lovely vibes, felt like a home. Breakfast was delicious! Unfortunately the power went out at night in the whole town, including losing cell phone coverage. So, no dinner that night as all the shops were closed!
