Extremely hot rooms Poor breakfast We took our breakfast 40 min before it closed and many things where finished like juice, bread,milk..and there was no one there to fill them.

there is no air conditionning so take care during summer … especially knowing that some rooms are on the wall side and there is the kitchen of the restaurant at ground level of the hotel … My room was on the wall side and there are also some offices in front of the room (wall in front of us) and some time it is noisy from the office at the ground level. In the morning a lot of noise from people who prepare the restaurant early in the morning …

Staff and people of the hotel and restaurant are really nice and finally hotel is globally cool.

Location was very good, rooms have been renovated and are clean & quiet, I had a room facing the River so it can get noisy once dawn breaks. Reception area needs cleaning/ renovation. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but did have some light snacks in the adjoining bar. Which were tasty. Note the lift to get to reception is in this bar, check in is strictly as per the time quoted. No option to check in earlier. Staff did hold onto my luggage on day of arrival and checkout so I could go exploring.

There was no air conditioning, but I did not find it too much of a problem since there was a fan which worked for me as I was alone. I understand if you are with multiple people it could get a bit warm. I also visited on the day of the famous street parade, and I was not able to go to the toilet of the restaurant (for free) after check out due to the chaos, so something you might have to take into account.

The location is perfect for a short stay. You can see all main spots from Zurich within a walking distance. There are many restaurants and shops around as well. The room was very nice and spacious with a fridge to keep you cool. Bathroom also amazing. Very clean room. Reception staff was very nice and I was really happy they could help with storing my luggage for a few hours after my checkout time.

Breakfast option too expensive, but it is easy to find posssibilities nearby. Air-conditioning was not working, luckily the ventilator did the job as the weather was cooler than usual

Rooms quite hot, fan suppled was a godsend. Also we had to check out at 5.10am to catch an early flight. The staff knew this as a taxi had been arranged. But…… at 5.05 we couldn’t get out of the building. Our key would not open the front door. We were stuck inside and the taxi driver looked hopelessly on from the outside. Eventually I found a notice at reception advising of a code to an outside keypad if a key lost. I showed this through the window to the taxi man and eventually he managed to open the door. I was just about to hit the emergency door exit that, I assumed, would have set off an alarm.

Expected bit more space and facilities given the price. Lift is not always accessible. Aircon was not effective at all given a relatively hot summer this time around.

This hotel has a nice retro vibe. Centrally located. Major attractions and streets are nearby.

It was a pretty warm day and like most hotels in Europe, it does not have AC. But we were able to sleep with the window open (it was not loud outside as it was a Monday night) and they gave us a nice-sized fan.

The location was excellent. As a family of 4, with two teens, I was looking for a hotel with a great location and price, that we could all stay in together. This exceeded my expectations. The staff was very friendly. We arrived around 11 am and they held our luggage and stored it in a locked room. We had to check our before the 7 am check out time and they were very accommodating. We had drinks and snacks in the restaurant downstairs and the staff was very friendly.

The beds are not comfortable, check in even though is a hotel is until 10:30pm, our train was delayed and we had to follow complicated steps to open the front door. Next day we had a tour early in the morning and seems that nobody is at reception you have to call a number for them to come into desk

The key system was a bit outdated, but still functional and easy to understand.

The location was great, close to central Zürich. Staff was really helpful e.g. they gave us an extra towel after requesting it.

Well I came was i need to ring the bell many times and calling as well before someone answered. On my reservation was an 1 extra large double bad but by surprise was only two small bed next to each other really disappointed. Very clean and nice place location. But I did paying for the breakfast included and at not even not 10.00 was totally empty food

Breakfast could definitely be improved with a wider variety of gipfeli, and bread. Also, hot beverages could be better in quality.

Bed is really comfortable and the room is very clean. I'd appreciate a beauty kit in the rooms.

While this wasn't a negative thing, the hotel's theme caught me off guard. Regardless, it was cute and different.

The room was comfortable, clean, and very elegant. I appreciated the bathtub in the bathroom. The location was perfect for a quick tram ride to Old Town, and anywhere else. The hotel was only a 4-minute walk to the nearest tram station. The staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Very clean and quiet room, even though the hotel is over a restaurant and in a tourist area. Next tram stop is in less than 200 m.
