We would also like to know what would have made your stay more "comfortable" and why you think the room was too expensive. What was missing for you? Yes we always advise our guests to take the bus, taxi or car, as the way up to our magical spot isn't perfect for suitcases. But possible either way. We hope to welcome you soon again.

The towel situation is as indicated in each bathroom, that our housekeeping changes any towel that are on the floor, if you hang them back up, it means, you help us save prescious water and we do not exchange. Dear guest, We are sorry to hear that a lack of croissants made your stay less enjoyable. We are very much concerned about offering our worldwide guests a variety of rich, culture appropriate and fresh breakfast. We are also doing our very best to reduce our food waste, so it can happen that some specialities like croissants do run out towards the end of the buffet. But there is always multiple choices of bread available all until the end of the breakfast times. We understand that our quite location comes with being a bit further from town, but we are very happy that our hotel is well-connected by bus. Unfortunately, we can't always meet the taste of the guests because of the soft bed and the soap, as everyone has different needs. We always try to find a happy medium. As our hotel is in an elevated position, we always inform all guests about the location of the hotel and the operating times of the bus when they book, so that they know what to expect. But because of this very location, our hotel has one of the most beautiful views in Grindelwald:-) I'm a little surprised by your stated walking times, it takes around 12 minutes down and 15 minutes up - perhaps you took the wrong route?
