Great option for Montreux stay!

Tiny, old elevators. Could take s long tine to get one. Stairs at front entrance so challenging to move suitcases into hotel.

Wonderfull spot along the lake. Very large windows, that opened. And provided amazing views of Lake Geneva, parks and the city. Nice to have free drinks in fridge.

Bathroom was very small

Excellent location right on the lake front 5 minute walk to the ferry dock and very close to the train station. Room was clean and well equipped, loved using the sun terrace.

It's a modern tower block style building but when you're in it you can't see that!

Terrific location on the shores of Lake Geneva - amazing views, warm and friendly staff, the breakfast was extra for me and pricey but well worth it. Definitely pay a bit more for a lakeside room, sitting there watching the mountains and the boats is the whole point of being there.

The hot water in bidet wasn’t working .The coffee machine was not working, but I was at fault by not reporting it at the beginning. The service was really good.

The bed was comfortable and the view was spectacular . The free complimentary coffee and the popcorn was welcoming.

The building itself should be repainted as it’s looking a little old.

Great stay in Montreux and had a room with an excellent view. Place was clean and had great amenities and close to the water.

Regarding the hotel, it is very expensive. However, I am disappointed with Booking.com because they cancelled my reservation saying that my credit card was not valid, while it was valid and active. I contacted the hotel directly and they kept my reservation. Many thanks to Hotel Mona. Now I think that Booking.com is not a reliable site for hotel reservations

Had cold water in shower but was fixed right after telling the front desk.

Location perfect. Beautiful view facing east towards Lake Geneva and the city of Montreux. Rode bikes both days! Once to the Castle and another day way out west. Staff was friendly and helpful with the area and restaurants.

The elevator in the smaller building is a bit iffy, otherwise everything was good!

We came for a wedding that was taking place at the hotel and booked just a few days prior. For some reason my friend thought there was a swimming pool on the property but there is only a jacuzzi, which was more than great.

No help with the luggage on arrival or departure. No room service. The A/C does not cope with the cooling when the outside temps are 30+C. The air vents of the A/C are in the balcony and make it unusable when it is on.

Nice location, great views of the lake, right on the lake promenade. Friendly and efficient staff. Rich breakfast. The marina is a nice touch.

Incredibly welcoming and helpful staff, attentive and efficient. The restaurant was lovely, food superb and loved the barman. Ideal location and facilities and a very trendy brand image that was playful and instantly recognisable. Really liked the unique style of the hotel and a fab room with everything we needed. Mona Hotel is a fantastic choice for staying in Montreux. It truly exceeded my expectations. I spent two weeks here while my daughter was enjoying a mountain camp. Initially, I didn’t expect much as I simply needed a room with a table for remote work. But Mona offered so much more: • Breathtaking views of the mountains and the lake right from the room window. As far as I could see, almost all rooms have this view. You’ll fall in love with it. I haven't ever seen anything like this. • Perfect location. The hotel is right on the lake. Every evening I enjoyed wonderful walks along the Montreux lakeside promenade. • Excellent breakfast and a complimentary minibar in the room stocked with drinks, and chocolate and a bottle of white wine as a welcome bonus first day. • Exceptional staff — helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist. I don’t remember all the names, but Romain stood out as super kind, fun, and genuinely welcoming. • Facilities you don’t often find in a 4-star hotel — sauna, hammam, a gym (small one but still), complimentary coffee, tea, and sweets available in the lobby 24/7, plus free laundry and drying machines (a real lifesaver during a two-week stay). • Complimentary daily yoga classes. This was an absolute gem and completely unexpected. I attended every day because it was REAL yoga, taught by an outstanding instructor (I googled after – she is a co-owner of a famous school in the region), not just light stretching for fun. Ardiana, the teacher, is a highly skilled professional and a wonderful person. The sessions added so much value to my stay - I attended classes every day, and I honestly think the hotel should promote them more — they could be a deciding factor for guests choosing Mona over other hotels. I wholeheartedly recommend Mona Hotel — they genuinely go the extra mile for their guests. It’s now my default choice for any future stays in Montreux.

Hotel Mona has a cozy vibe. The standard room is on the smaller side, but the Privileged Room is much more spacious — we’d definitely choose that next time. Breakfast wasn’t anything special, but the jacuzzi and the hotel’s fantastic location more than made up for it. Just a few minutes’ walk from the train station, it’s super convenient for getting around.

Actually only the red wine from the fridge in the lobby is quite nasty and even after letting them know they still charged us for it. I wouldn’t recommend that wine. Otherwise everything was top notch, because they always keep it clean 24/7 and the staff is just very devoted to making one feel welcomed.

I have been here before and again the property is just mind blowing. The rooms we got even on the first floor would face le lac Leman. We missed breakfast once and still had an opportunity to have some.

The bathroom lets the room down as it’s very small. Whilst the bar outside is nice, would be good if there were a ‘proper’ bar area inside the hotel when the weather isn’t good.

Location is amazing, very easy to get to from the station and main road. We had a room on the 13th floor with great views across the lake. Staff super friendly and always smiling. Comfortable room with good facilities. Restaurant also very good.
