GermanyFirst impression is last impression .. we travelled from Germany .. all networks in mobile are closed in Switzerland so we dont contact with owner ... we reached bit early. I am with my guests from Pakistan . House is open we wait 10 minutes outside. Also rings the bell but nobody come out so the kids ran inside the house . After 1 minute owner came out & shouted on us badly which is enough.. Very bad 1st impression.. kids afraid guest also horrified 😖... After all this mess owner came & sorry but everyone is afraid ..

Location is not bad actually. The property give a vibe of staying like a local. The surroundings, neighbourhood and walk-about is one of its kind, which is peaceful and comfortable. The scenery is exceptional. It is better to have own transportation or drive about to be able to get to nearby town/shop or restaurant. Evening onwards is pretty quiet within the neighbourhood, so evening onwards its more to settling down inside the property. However, the TV is not working so we really just chill and rest.

Great place, can easily access all other places around, next to Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. Tom was very friendly and helpful.

GermanyOur experience started off on the wrong foot. We had informed the host in advance that we would be arriving around 10:00 PM. Unfortunately, a major traffic accident on the highway caused a 40-minute delay, and we immediately updated the host about the situation. Despite this, his response was unwelcoming and harsh. Rather than using the key lockbox provided for a smooth check-in, the host waited for us outside, seemingly only to confirm how many people were arriving. He appeared suspicious, wrongly assuming we might be bringing more guests than we had booked for. Upon arrival, instead of offering a warm welcome, he began listing a strict set of rules in a stern and controlling manner. It felt more like being lectured by a landlord than welcomed by a host. A simple printed house rules document would have been more appropriate. This interaction left us feeling uneasy and ruined the start of our trip. We even contacted Booking.com to report the incident and request a cancellation. While Booking.com was very cooperative and offered compensation, we couldn’t find alternative accommodation late at night and had no option but to stay. Unfortunately, the discomfort didn’t end there. The host continued to interrupt our stay by ringing the doorbell and reminding us of more rules. This constant monitoring made us feel extremely uncomfortable. He also charged an additional €78 for city tax, which had not been clearly mentioned in advance. Overall, the entire experience was stressful and far from what we expected. If you’re looking for a peaceful and respectful stay, I would advise avoiding this property. Please read the reviews before booking.

Our check-in experience was frustrating and unwelcoming. Despite promptly notifying the host about the delay, he was extremely rude upon our arrival. Instead of using the available key lockbox and allowing a smooth, contactless check-in, the host insisted on waiting solely to verify how many people were arriving. He appeared to suspect us of bringing a larger group than booked, which was simply not true. His approach was confrontational from the beginning—he strictly lectured us on a long list of rules in an unpleasant tone, rather than sharing a standard house rules document as most hosts would. This behavior set a very negative tone and completely ruined our first night. We were so uncomfortable that we contacted Booking.com to request cancellation and a refund. While Booking.com was supportive and willing to compensate us, we unfortunately couldn’t find another place to stay at that hour, so we had no choice but to remain. Throughout the stay, the host continued to make us feel uneasy by ringing the doorbell and issuing more warnings about rules. It felt more like being monitored by a landlord than staying in a vacation rental. On top of that, he charged us an additional €78 for city tax, which was not clearly communicated upfront. Overall, it was a horrible experience. We strongly advise others not to book this property if you value respectful communication and a relaxed, comfortable stay. Please read all previous experiences before booking.

FranceThe apt was accomodated but the quality of some of the facilities is not good. 1. The matelas of the beds are not good quality. On the double bed, it was noisy once one of us changed the position and waked up the other. My husband waked up at 4 a.m 2 nights/3 that we stayed there and could not slept back. 2. The bunk bed is not secured for children for the second layer doesn't has a barrier. My daughted fell off the bed in the middle of the night and got hurt in the back. 3. One of the room is quite small 4. The shower can leak water on the floor so we always have to pay attention when taking shower. 5. The toilet is the biggest problem as it was stuck 2 times durinh the 4 days we were there. At arriving Tom told us that the toilet could be stuck and there was that problem before. He said because of the people before us used too much toilet papers. Therefore we used the toilet always with caution and put all the toilet paper if urinaire into the rubbish bin. Despite our precaution, it was stucked right away the night of our 1st day and then again the night before our departure next morning. What makes me very shocked and dissapointed is the next day, Tom sent me a message that the toiletsink was plugged up and he has financial loss bexause of it, and it's all on us. This is his message : "I would like to inform you about the toilet situation in the apartment you stayed at: Only the toiletsink was completely plugged up.... The only possible people that have could cause that was your group/ family! I now opened up the wall and the floor behind the toilet.... broke it all off. The specialist/ plumber just shook his head and found absolutely everything in orden, but the plugged toiltsink..... As a matter of facts: I now have to get that all fixed, because of you.... I also will loose now the income of the coming days, until it's all fixed. Because of that matter, I will contact booking.com!
The apt is clean and accommodated. The host was kind at the beginning and responsive when there was a problem with the toilet but then he had to fixed his toilet cause the toiletsink was plugged up, then he became agressive and put all of that on us. So no more kind and good host.

The location is perfect, next to the lake and there is a swimming place not far away. Great for families, hikers, friend groups etc. Train connection is within walking distance and the host is simply marvelous!

MalaysiaWhen we went out for site seeing, the host call us and informed us the house was flooded due to we didnt turn off the shower head. We had double check before we went out and we are very sure it is off. The host complaint to booking.com and request us to pay 2000CHF. This is suspicious and we call the police to investigate. When the police arrive, there is no sign of flood and there is still a dust on the toilet floor. This time host inform the police the house was flooded because we hang wet towel on the towel heater. I dont know how could a wet towel cause the house to flood and damage 2000CHF. The police ask us not to pay anything and leave to another hotel.
We arrive with 3 additional kids, the host gave us toys, pillow, and blanket for kids. The house located at 2nd floor and the host help us carry our bag. The view from the house is good.
