PortugalIt’s opposite to a pub called avocado so it may become noisy at night. In summer it was a bit hot for one night the place does not have a fan so carry a portable one if you are travelling in summer. The room has low ceiling, however since we both are below 6’ so it was fine for us but for tall folks it may be an issue.
The location was just perfect, comfy bed with all basic amenities. The view is great as well.

United KingdomAll access is via stairs. Not clear on booking and also check in is in another hotel, which we had stayed in the previous night. They said they would transfer our bags but didn’t. Shared tea and coffee facilities despite the size of the room. I would say over priced based on these things.

the location was great! Not too busy, but in a very convenient location and could walk everywhere which was really nice. Was nice that they had a parking garage as well as the parking garage for public parking was a bit of a walk away.

AustraliaWe were a bit confused with the location as this is a part of the larger hotel further up the hill where you check in. So our check in took a bit longer once we figured out where to go. Not a big deal, but I think the instructions could be clearer.
Cosy, clean and comfortable. The room was exactly as shown in the photos and staff were very helpful. We had some confusion with the check in location, the staff were helpful and also shuttled us to our room.

RomaniaThere was no fridge, the room was extra small and 2 months later I am still unable to receive an invoice, even though I ticked the invoice box and filled in the company details. Not even after calling the hotel and contacting Customer Service multiple times have I been able to receive my invoice. This is not just an inconvenience but a real accounting problem.
The location was very good and the room was clean. Grindelwald is spectacular, but maybe book a different accomodation.

Great location and fairly newly renovated. There is a kettle on the second floor of the building that you can use, but only teabags provided. There is no fridge or air conditioning.

United States1. The hotel is conveniently located but not the reception. Note that the reception is at a different location which appears to belong to the same company. Pretty tricky to find without asking around. And it’s really a bummer finding out that you have to go up a lot of stairs with all your luggage’s after you think you “arrived”. 2. The pillows are very uncomfortable. 3. Minor point, I wish there could be a bit more amenities and small things they provide to make it easier for travelers, e.g. shower cap, cotton, ideally a small fridge, etc. 4. Last minor point, it’s great that they have a mini bar with coffee, however it’s not appeared to be maintained at least during the two nights we stay, e.g. no one takes the dirty cups, fill water tank, etc.
The room is spacious, well maintained. Conveniently located in the heart of the town. I like the design of the room.

United KingdomWe waited at the train station for the pickup car provided by the hotel for almost 40 minutes, and the hotel was only a 10-minute walk away. we decided to walk it to the hotel but the check-in was at the top of a hill. this was not a good experience. but our car did turn up and it was a nice new defender the driver apologized and loaded our bags dropped them at the hotel then drove us up to the post-hotel check. staff, there was a great apologized.
The location was great in town, in the middle of everything. sound level was not to loud.

CanadaGreat location. A 5-10 minute walk from the main Grindelwald train station (not to be confused with the Grindelwald Terminal station where you catch the gondola to the Jungfraujoch). It is a two minute walk from the Grindelwald First cable cars (a must if you in the area). Lots of restaurants in easy walking distance.
