Located by the railway station and the main road of Grindalwald. The room was clean and comfortable with sufficient room for us and our suitcases. Owners and staff were friendly and helpful.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

The location was superb. 2 minutes walk from Grindelwald train station. 2 minute walk to the bus station. 3 minute walk to the supermarket. The view of the Eiger from the private balcony was impressive. The breakfast which was included was lovely and filling. Room was cleaned daily. Bathroom functioned 100%. The room was quiet, hence perfect for a solo traveller like myself.

The hotel was centrally located less than 100m from train station, bus station, supermarket and start of shopping street. Perfect location and base for us for 5 nights in Grindelwald for the Eiger Ultra Run with a great breakfast. Very Happy

It was a perfect stay. The view from the balcony was amazing and I was looking at the amazing view for more than an hour. The room was clean. The breakfast was very delicious. The owners were very kind to me. They cared about the weather and gave me advice. I would love to stay again! Highly recommended.

I stay in 5 to 8 hotels per month, this one ranks as one of the nicest I have been to. It has a very "home from home" feel. I would highly recommend anyone to come and sample the Swiss hospitality.

The hotel owners Peter and Daniela are a very dedicated couple. They are very involved with the day to day running and always available to the guests. Both speak excellent English and have a deep knowledge of the resort. Any requests we made were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

This hotel is a great family run hotel and is excellent value for money in Grindelwald. Peter is a great host who speaks fluent English and went the extra mile for us. He lent us a Swiss plug, gave us a kettle and mugs for the room, served us coffee every morning at breakfast and kept our bags the whole day for us on check out. The room is a large, the beds comfortable and the hot water pressure in the shower was amazing! The room is cleaned every day and the breakfast was great with an amazing view. It is a quick walk from the station and easy walk to the supermarket, Grindewald First and Terminal. The hotel is listed as 2 star but if you are after clean, basic, convenient, friendly and value for money then definitely stay here. We would definitely book again for the price we paid for 5 nights!!
