Location was nice and quiet, the garden setting at the back was lovely.

The central location was great, and the breakfast is gorgeous.

This is a nice place in a lovely location. Rooms are a good size, with nice, firm beds. Our friends had the 1st floor room - bigger than ours (top floor) with lots of windows.

Bathrooms were a bit small, but goes with the territory.

Location was excellent.

Costly additional charge for our daughter to stay in the same room. Parking is sparse and an additional up charge.

Very friendly staff, beautiful and clean room, gorgeous little bistro downstairs with delicious food. Everything was perfect!

We found this property to be exactly what we wanted - centrally located, tastefully appointed and comfortable room, and quiet. Everything and more! I only wish the bistro had been open on the morning of our departure so we could’ve enjoyed that!

We had another friend who tried to book this same property on Booking.com and was not successful. We were all together when we booked months earlier and she was not given a confirmation number and was forced to book away from us at another hotel. When we checked in, she was with us and was made to feel like she had done something wrong. There was a problem between Booking.com and this property and it was NOT her responsibility. This part was unfortunate because we’d’ve preferred to be staying under one roof, but without a confirmation—similar to what we got—she had already made other arrangements. The person at check in didn’t seem to believe her. Meanwhile Emma was left with an empty room. Maybe consider booking directly and not through Booking.com?

This stay was for my wife for her birthday; the following is her review. a gorgeous room right in the centre of lovely Winterthur. Superbly clean, very friendly staff and such a comfy bed. The price is a true bargain for Switzerland considering the central location and generous size of the room. Loved the inclusions such and a small fridge, bathtub, and tea/coffee making items. They even left me a little cake with candle and card for my birthday. Lush garden views and everything at your doorstep.

The location and the fact that we had a garden room with a fan as the weather was hot. Small hotel with only a few rooms. Within walking distance of train station. Very pleasant staff.

Great location + view on a beautiful and quiet garden + attentionate staff + there were a fridge and a kettle in the room.

Room #3 is an attic, so not necessarily a good idea if you are tall. The bed is not next to the wall and there is no headboard so reading in bed is difficult. Be very careful if you use the safe, which is awkwardly tucked away under a very low shelf in a corner and thus difficult to operate. We could not open it back alone.

Perfect location. Attractive house. Extremely quiet, rooms look out on garden. Very spacious with large bathroom too. Comfortable large bed and tasteful decor. The key safe systrm for late arrival seemed complicated but worked well. Lovely popular bistro on site and kettle, (herbal) tea and and crockery in the room.

Stairs quite narrow when negotiating with suitcase. There was a small fridge in tge room but I am not sure it was working?
