It was a bit difficult to tell how to check in to the property at first, as there was no distinction between the storefront and the hotel (though I’m not sure there is meant to be one).

The location was very homely and the stay was exceptionally pleasant, with some freshly made juices and offerings during breakfast.

Check in was within a small window, and took a while for someone to come to the door, but not a real issue.

Very homely, access to a kitchen, and ‘living room’. Would be perfect for a home-away-from-home for work or extended stay. Close to village centre.

Light needs to be left on so guests can see their way in at night, could use a light on main table in room, had to borrow one off of tables by the bed.

Shared bathroom when all rooms are occupied seems a challenge? But we were there when it was quiet so so problem for us. And in the morning it can be noisy due to street.

Very unforgettable and wonderful, the landlord is very kind, I was on a business trip this time, the landlord gave me the feeling of home, everything is perfect, I decided to come back here every time I go on a business trip in the future, I hope that the next time there is an opportunity to bring my wife and children to Switzerland to play you can come back to visit the landlord, thank you for this unforgettable memories of me!

The location was great for train travel to other places. Very close to the train station. Beautiful town. Nice people. Great host and very nice room. Good breakfast. There is a beautiful park in town.

No complaints--really. Wegmann B&B offers basic, high quality comfort. People seeking some place fancy may be disappointed, but I found it to be exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

Wegmann B&B is simple and home-like. For me it was the perfect location, near the train station and just up the road from my family. The host was kind and provided all the information I needed for an excellent stay. My room was clean and comfortable and the bed was perfect! I will always use Wegmann B&B for my family visits to Andelfingen. Thanks for a great visit and next time I hope to stay longer.

Super clean room and great breakfast. Easy to find and great Thai Restaurant 1 minute walk down street. Owner was very nice and shared history of the area and the property.

Charming B&B, great hosts, lovely and convenient location. The room, bathroom and common living area are very spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was wonderful, with numerous delicious local and home made products. I was very happy to find my favorite jam from breakfast in their little shop. An excellent value and great place to stay, I look forward to my next visit.

We first arrived on the way to Rheine Falls to drop off our luggage around 3:30pm. No one was in sight and we rang the doorbell and no answer. No big deal, we left to go to the falls and returned later at 6:30pm. We checked our booking and check in was not until 6pm which is very late. Still no one was around this place at all. We rang the doorbell again and waited. Finally someone showed up to let us in the room. Our interactions with the hosts were positive. Be aware, you have to pay the taxes here in CHF/Euro. No credit card or USD, so plan accordingly. No tea kettle or coffee maker in the room. Like most places in Switzerland, the room has no AC, so you have to leave the window open. We brought small USB fans which I highly recommend if you travel to Switzerland in the summer. Our room was facing the surprisingly busy street. The room was clean, but small and traffic noise was quite loud (all night long). The room was hot so we had to have the windows open and there was a lot of traffic for such a small village passing this Bnb. There was no shampoo or body wash for the shower, luckily we had packed some. The sink soap dispenser had only a small amount of hand soap in it. The towels were not soft at all and felt like sandpaper. Breakfast after our sleepless night was just ok and consisted of bread, jelly, deli meats, cheese, some fruits and cereals. Under the BNB is the hosts walk in area for people to get fruits, eggs and other things I guess they grow on their land. I was kind of surprised there were no eggs with the breakfast since they were selling them under the BNB. For the price, it was not what we expected at all which was more of a quiet farm type stay. We basically got no sleep all night long on our night before went to the airport for a very long travel day.

Basically in between Rheine falls and the Zurich airport....
