Lack of air conditioning, although we did have fans available which helped a great deal. Unfortunately Europe was under a heatwave during our visit. But the problem was dealt with by the fans.

The location was really convenient, the host was very welcoming and offered us excellent advice on getting around Basel and what sights to see. The apartment itself was clean, modern and well appointed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here.

The apartment is well located, super clean, and Loredana was incredibly responsive and helpful. It's worth noting that there is no a/c in the apartment (there were several fans though) but it sounds like that is how it is in Switzerland, unless you go to a hotel. So if it's midsummer and hot... well, it'll be hot in the apartment too. The only other thing that we didn't love (and this one is personal preference) is that the beds were not as comfy and we would have liked. But again, Loredana was super responsive when we wanted extra pillows and brought them over right away. And bed preference can vary from one person to another.

Location was perfect! Loredana was easy to communicate with, very accessible and helpful. She was waiting for us when we arrived, and came over to collect the keys when we left. She was a pleasure to deal with.

There was nothing to complain about. We missed beer glasses but when we told that, Loredana immediately bought some. It's not cheap, but nothing is cheap in Switserland, except public transport with your Basel city card.

Loredana, the host, a Swiss/Italian lady, was very kind and helpful. Easy to contact via whatsapp or phone and always responded very quickly. She met us when we arrived. The apartment is spacious with three bedrooms (we used two) and two bathrooms. All very clean and bright. Lots of info in the apartment about Basel and things you can do (a lot, with beautiful musea). Free transport card provided by Loredana (Basel city card). A bit out of the center, but trams nearby, going to all directions. Bedrooms at the backside, therefore quiet. Convenient private parking place under the apartment.

Lorenda's apartment was perfect for our very short stay in Basel. It was only two tram stops from Basel SBB train station then a very short walk to the apartment. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Loredana was an excellent host. She very kindly greeted us with the keys at the apartment. She kept in contact and gave detailed advice on different transport methods to get to the apartment. The location was near the lovely old part of town, a few minutes walk or easily reached by tram. Loredana was very friendly and helpful, providing a detailed map with the tram numbers and had excellent local knowledge of the area. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well stocked with essentials, spacious, bright and quiet. Loredana went out of her way to help us and even left a welcoming bottle of wine when we arrived. Highly recommended accommodation and we would love to return in the future.

Getting to the apartment from the train station was easy, and free! with Loredana's instructions. The apartment itself was so clean that I felt like I was the first person to ever stay there. Beds were comfortable, kitchen facilities were fantastic, shower was wonderful, neighborhood was quiet. The outdoor temperatures were quite high at times (I was there for six days), but the fan made it comfortable indoors and air conditioning wasn't necessary. Hearing that I had come to see the museums and learn about the history of Basel, Loredana provided a detailed itinerary and suggestions of what to see. The museums were just a 10 -15 minute walk away, so it was convenient to return home in the middle of the day for lunch. As a woman traveling alone, I'm always concerned about security issues, but I felt perfectly safe, both in the apartment and walking in the neighborhood.

Wonderful and spacious apartment, very well equipped, literally all you can hope for, very clean, good Wifi! Everything in walking distance (10 min from central train station, 5 min to Old Town, 2 min to tram stop or supermarket). From Basel it's only one hour to Bern or Zürich by train (5 connections per hour!). Additionally Loredana gave us some interesting recommendations - the small Rhine ferry was fun! - we enjoyed our time very much!
